Let's just talk about other cleaning tips.
on the BBCA (so I assume it comes on in the UK) is a show called How Clean is Your House, and they always have these great cleaning tips, but I never write them down.
Apparently lifetime is carrying it in the US. Here are some of their tips. Apparently, vodka is a deodorizer. You wouldn't think it if you woke up hung over.
EDIT: The best cleaning tip ever is to use banana peels to clean the leaves of plants. It gets off the dust, makes a protective coat on the leaf, and gives the plant nutrients. Hurray!
Signature by rubah. I think.
That same thing happened to me once. Well, to my stepmother. She just cooked pasta sauce as normal, out of a jar. But then it turned into that. Well, I had to clean up that night, so I actually just picked out the crustiness with a knife. :P Scratched the pot a bit, but oh well! Knives solve all problems.
Didn't Mythbusters bust that myth?
I know at large theatres, instead of washing the costumes every time, they will spray them with vodka.
What's with you staffies opening threads and replying in them all of a sudden, only to close again?
Um...right, on topic. Use an SOS pad too![]()
My Mum always says to boil coke in the pan and it comes off very easy... never haveing had anything that burnt I wouldnt know =D
IIRC Mythbusters confirmed the vodka deodorizing myth.
For me, I like to cook in cast iron pans. Those you can just stick into a fire for a few minutes, let em cool off, and rinse out the ash.
lol. So, did you say when you remembered the pasta was still on the stove?
