I think smoking is a very unnecessary and bad addiction.
And you can't just blame it on your being addicted, because you can stop smoking if you really want to.
Heck, my grandmother stopped smoking at once five years ago, and she had smoked for more than 30 years.
She was really scared when she saw a picture of the lungs from a smoker, and then she decided to instantly quit.
She quit at once because her willpower was strong enough, and this goes for all kinds of addictions.
Sure, it leads to an early painful death and it's smellyyucky, but the bottom line is smoking is cool and you know it. :mog:
I hate seeing the black disgusting lungs a smoker has and it inspires me more not to do it, I look out for people I care about and preach to them how it can effect their bodies and others too. It feels good, it really, really does...

i tried to smoke one cigarette once when i was a kid...i couldn't do it. both of my parents and my older sister smoke...so i grew up around it. it doesn't bother me but i still will never do it.

Many people take painkillers for medical purposes, but due to painkillers -extreme- ability to be addictive, the sweet lady who broke her back could -easily- end up the cut-throat lady who would do what ever it took for the pain killers because she felt she needed them.Unless it's medically inclined for health.
Most things like painkillers are prescribed for a good purpose, ironically they end up being used for bad purposes -after- they've been put to good.

Unfortunately I've been smoking cigs for over a year now, but I'm not one of this inconsiderate bastards you all mentioned before. I never smoke in front of someone who doesn't like it. I always ask permission to smoke if I know someone might have a problem with. Also when I'm walking to class I will switch the hands my cig is in so the smoke doesn't go near the person I'm walking next to.

Smoking feels good. And, if you’ve had enough of it, it feels horrible not to... That’s the impression I got from it anyway, but I suppose I didn’t really smoke frequently enough to develop a serious connection with it. And I quit not so much over concern for my health, but I generally find that drawing pleasure from smoking anything is revolting. Uck.
