It actually might not be as hard as you think. But I'm pretty cheap, though. I'm right after Archades on my newest account, Vaan, Basch and Ashe are all level 41, 6000 life bubble'd, zodiac spear and two deathbringers. I didn't have very much trouble with Zeromus. I just went to the Feywood early and killed Behemoths for their Behemoth steaks and sold them to get 99 X-Potions from the Bazaar. Then I did Zeromus. Just kill the skeletons until they stop appearing, and heal with X-Potions. Then Berserk two of your characts and lay into him. It took me almost 15 minutes.
