I prefer to paint with the paintbrush then use the smudge tool to control it more effectively. It's like painting with acrylics!

Next time don't give them arms or clothes.

Why not try Corel Paint? It might siut your working method, because of its options that aim to give a "real colors" feeling.

I am fairly new to painting , I will look into this 1st.
