This won't be fun though, because Vader is going to the PS3 and Yoda to the 360. Which basically defeats the entire point of having them both.

It has also been mentioned that it is very likely that the excluded character, in addition to others, will be available as downloadable content on each system. And who buys a game these days without dropping another 10 bucks on downloadables, anyway?

I like the Soul games, but I think this is a step too far, I have nothing against Star Wars, but I think this abandoning the main system.

I wonder, though, if they'll actually try to explain why the two are now linked. In SC2, each extra character was from a different game/comic, and so it would be harder to explain all their appearances in the same world, and their stories and reasoning for coming to the world weren't really well done, as to be expected. They were extra characters. Now, here, the two extra characters are from the same universe, so there must be something common between the two in their reasoning for coming here, don't you agree? But we're talking about Star Wars here. I don't want Darth Vader to impact the story. Since they're Extra Characters, too, I don't think they'll work too hard on their stories.

This is lame for alot of reasons. I have nothing against Yoda and Darth Vader but why on earth would any of you guys want these two in Soul Caliber IV? The story to this game will make me throw up while reading. And neither sound like interesting characters to be in a fighting game.

No one's really said that they do want them in, sans a few. No need to target an entire thread now, Dreddz. Besides, just like with the extra characters of SC2, or the Bonus Characters of SC3, it's not likely that they'll impact the story at all outside the non-canon story mode bound to be included. But if we are to compare it to SC2, then the 3 extra characters only received spotlight for a single mission.

I don't think story-lovers have anything to worry about.

I'd want them in Soul Caliber IV, they look like fun characters to play with and I'd love to play as Darth Vader.
