I'm just happy with Adebayor being Adebayor at the moment. I don't think he'll be as good as Henry, but then not many are.

I still think it's harsh to have a go for Liverpool for this weekend's game, even Man Utd had a few problems with the likes of Exeter and Burton Albion in recent years. And on another day that could have been Arsenal or Chelsea looking silly for a while against a non-league side.

The game with Villa was more Liverpool in a nutshell, seemingly in control, than all of a sudden behind. They've lost less games than Man Utd, it's endless draws that have crippled them.

    Cardiff City v Wolves

    Sheffield United v Middlesbrough

    Liverpool v Barnsley

    Manchester United v Arsenal

    Preston v Portsmouth

    Coventry City v West Brom

    Chelsea v Huddersfield Town

    Argh! Argh! Argh!

So, just the two trophies to go for now... XD

Argh, the worst draw imaginable. Luckily the ACN will be over by then, but I still don't fancy our chances away from home. Of course, we got the win at Old Trafford last season while playing far worse than we are now, so the situation isn't exactly hopeless.

You got the worst draw ever? We managed to draw, and get knocked out by you in both the FA and Carling Cup. ;D

Chelsea at home against lower league opposition? Been a while since that's happened.

I would rather get Man United than Barnsley. At least then I don't have to face the cruel mockery of the football thread when we lose.

Chelsea's FA Cup runs in the last year or two have been a bad joke

Will be interesting to se how Man Utd and Arsenal approach their game as they'll be playing their European Cup games a few days later.

I'm scared to death about facing Man Utd again, I hope we're gonna come away with the win this time.

Well we have beaten them in two out of the last three league games, and in two of the last three FA Cup meetings, so not sure what you mean about 'come away with the win this time' (OK one of those FA Cup wins was on penalties after being battered for 120 minutes, but what the hell ).
We can do it, it'll just be very, very hard against a team of their calibre and at Old Trafford.

And Psychotic, you should be pleased! For the fourth season in a row Liverpool have the chance to have a cup run obscure the fact they've failed to make a title challenge for the umpteenth season in a row! I wish we had that luxury in recent years.

Pleased? I'll only be pleased if we beat Arsenal 5-0 in the final, courtesy of 5 Fabregas own goals!

I meant that I hope Arsenal win this match against Man Utd, because we failed to beat them at Emirates last year in the Premiership. Also, the game wasn't entirely satisfying for us, we hardly had possession and I'm expecting a totally different attitude to this Fa Cup match-up.

I presume you mean our 2-2 draw with them in November (since we beat them at home last year). I don't know, last minute equalisers against Man Utd can be satisfying sometimes XD

Not as satisfying as last minute winners, though.

I agree with Paul - I'd prefer to play Arsenal than a lower league side. Of course, unlike Liverpool, that's because we're actually cursed to lose against such sides rather than just be humiliated by them.
