The amount of Tengen Toppa love in this thread is a very good thing indeed.

I'm so freaking proud of that. Normally I would contribute to these kinds of threads with all kinds of stuff, but right now I can't get past 'FIGHT THE POWA'.

As for brand new stuff that hasn't even started yet, I have an eye on Soul Eater (YouTube preview). I usually don't get drawn to these kinds of shows, but some of the people who are working on it are favourites of mine (BONES animation studio, Taku Iwasaki on music...who also did Gurren-Lagann). They mention FullMetal Alchemist a couple of times in the trailer, it's because this is mostly the same group of people who animated that show. And it looks pretty.

You owe it to yourself to do so, as an anime fan. The weakest on the list is probably Berserk, but that's because it was cheap and really is little more than a glorified introduction to the manga, which is up there on the list of the most epic ever put on paper. It's still got a fantastic cast of characters and an excellent, excellent plot and fantasy setting that make up for ty animation.
    I'll second that list.

EDIT: Remembered one more: Paranoia Agent.

Elfen Lied, Chrno Crusade and if you like Vatican fights Trinity Blood (might not be one of those stunning animes but it's worth watching) Also 'Angel Sanctuary' recieved a 5 I think in an anime magazine but it defenitly deserves to be watching (it's an OVA) for me it'd take a 9 for it's really harsh and emotionally touches people.

I wouldn't call Code Geass 'that good' (though I have pretty high standards), but it's a highly entertaining train wreck of a show. Worth watching for free, so yeah, check it out when it comes on Adult Swim. They'll be streaming it on their site as well.

I wasn't even going to check out the 2nd season that starts in 2 weeks. But once I saw a trailer for it, I was reminded of the exceptional pandering skills of the creators. So, I'm more in it for the pretty pictures and fanservice than the actual content, which is kind of 'lol'-worthy.

Noir is really good, I though. I haven't watched much anime lately. I hear Fafner is good too.

    Signature by rubah. I think.

fafner is good, a lot of angst though, the OVA is brilliant imo; Right of Left

I randomly checked out Zombie-Loan and it's pretty awesome. Reminds me of Hellsing, only with a bit more of a sense of humor.

I've been watching Wolf's Rain and Monster lately, and they are both VERY good shows. I'm really hooked, particularly on Monster, and I'm glad there are 70-something episodes!
