yeah, i was thinkin of getting that, but i have a list of about 20 games that i want to buy cos i just bought my wii recently, so im a bit behind in the games department i think metroid prime 3: corruption is next, oh, how i love metroid

in fact, i think i'm gonna change my sig to a samus-themed one, because on earthbound right now (for those who've played it) i'm just in that stonehenge area searching for the fabled "Sword of Kings" for 'Kai' (yes, KAI, i refuse to call him 'Poo', i mean, wtf man?) but yeah, that's turned me off playing cos it's so boring every time i fire it up :rolleyes2 and yes, i KNOW i don't need it, but i want it, and im not yet strong enough to just go through killing everybody one hit, soooo yeah...now im playing metroid fusion instead, and i just finished zero mission (much better in my opinion), oh, and mario galaxy, of course...

well THAT was a random tangent sorry to have wasted your precious time

Yesterday I finished collecting all of the boss trophies.

Well, except for some like Winged Tabuu and the Porky Statue. I got all of the ones you get using trophy stands though.

Strangely enough, Petey Pirahna and Duon took the longest to get their trophies. Although Meta Ridley and Tabuu are the two last bosses I got them quite quickly compared to the former two. If it wasn't for the fact that I let the Meta Ridley trophy fall of the level I could've got it a lot quicker. For Tabuu I spent a lot of time waiting around for a trophy stand to appear.

after I unlocked all the music, stages, and characters, I didn't care about getting anything else. So I still have a bunch of challenges to do, and I didn't get a single boss trophy. Doing stuff like that actually sucks the fun out of the game imo. It's a great game and tons of fun, but when you have to play hardcore single player to do stuff, it's not very fun anymore. AKA, beat classic, all star, 100 man melee and boss mode with all characters. That is anti my definition of fun. That's just tedious

lol good plan. Except my other friends who like the game own it themselves. And on top of that, I'm better than all my friends here, so it's much faster if I do it myself. I mean, I play the game on occasion, less now that I have mario kart, but I usually beat classic everytime I turn it on. After I do it with every character, I'll move onto all star. etc etc

It'll get done eventually, I'm just not in a rush to do those things, like I was to unlock the things that actually make multiplayer better.

I haven't gotten any of the Boss trophies either. xD I do have over 500 trophies, though.

As for the challenges, I'm missing Beat Boss Battles on Hard/Very Hard/Assrape difficulties, and Get All Stickers. I have the rest of them unlocked. And have had them unlocked for quite some time.

Don't even get me started on Boss Battles on Intense Mode. I haven't defeated it on Very Hard or Intense yet. I got killed on the first boss every time I've tried it on Intense Mode with Marth (my best character) before I could even get the boss' HP to 1/2. :yuck:

As for stickers, I've actually only enabled Sandbags and put items on High so I can get a lot of them and complete my collection.

You could do All Star on Co-op Mode with your friends to get all of the Final Smash Trophies. Of course, there's a few All Star challenges that have to be done on single player.

I guess I can see why you don't find it fun, but I personally think it's kind of fun knowing that you still have a challenge out there that you need to accomplish. Seeing a closed window on the Challenges Board just waiting to be shattered by completing it's goal is enough to motivate me to try to clear that Challenge.

Well, except for the really insane ones like defeating the 100 Man Brawl with everyone and defeating Boss Battles on Intense Mode (poor Marth ). But getting boss trophies with my buddies helping me out was quite fun (even if they weren't the best at dodging the bosses' attacks). The feeling of accomplishment from getting a Boss Trophy was worth the effort. Especially when it came to turning Tabuu into a trophy.

On a side not I defeated the 15 Minute Brawl on Saturday and got the Green Alloy trophy.

    same...
anyway, i want a real person's opinion instead of reviews and game sites, etc. Is the online play really bad and laggy?

i know your internet speed, etc. matter, but if you and the other person/people have a relatively good connection, should it play well?

It's not as bad as some people claim it is. Although it can get quite choppy the match usually doesn't freeze up for more than one second. It can mess up moves that require a lot of accuracy and timing. (such as Ness' PK Thunder Recovery and Luigi's Flaming Uppercut)

But if you're lucky enough to have a really good connection (like the one I had when I first versed ljkkjlcm9 online) the matches are so smooth you probably wouldn't be able to tell that it was an online match since it's just as smooth as an offline match.

Most of the time it'll be alright, but sometimes it'll be quite slow and it seems like it's taking your character a super loooong time to just kick somebody; this could be because I'm accessing non-European servers in Europe, though

Does no one else lose them self whilst playing online? as in, getting confused which character is you until you're flying off the track? It's always so intense that I'm all WOAAH WHERE AM I *button bash*

Why did it take me a month to find out about this trick?

Wow. That trick would sure make for some really awesome snapshots.

We should have a funniest snapshot competition on EoFF one time. Even though most of them aren't that amusing (like that Pik-Man photo I mailed to Roto with a Pikmin replacing Marth's head). I've also got some other ones like the Mario Bros. rocking out at the 8 PM concert, the Nintendog getting shot at with the Dragoon, Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi going sliding in the snow, and R.O.B. hitching a ride on Wario's Bike.

haha, you should post a few of those nothin' beats a good screenshot although it DOES make you realize the real limitations of the Wii, seeing as two characters are usually fused together or through each other

BTW: i see people exchanging 'Brawl' friend codes on other forums and they're only 3 lots of 4 numbers (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX), instead of the usual 'Wii' friend codes, which are four lots of four numbers (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX), so do you get a special 'Brawl' one when you buy the game or what?

You get a special friend code for all online Wii games. The friend code for your console is just for sending messages and stuff from Wii to Wii.

Which is really dumb. It doesn't really make sense why you can't just have a centralized FC.
