I think that putting up with that is worth being able to authorise hair colour changes on my own.

What's the big deal about dying your hair anyway? I mean it's no worse than putting on a little make up (more permanant, maybe, but if you use Kool-Aid to dye your hair, you can wash it out easily).

Danielle doesn't 'do' short term hair dye. Hers lasts for months. And regardless, ugh. UGH.
