Ah... I see your reasoning. I suppose it DOES make sense. The Mafia wouldn't be able to night kill Filch if he really is the gun owner... however they could easily go after Snape... Everyone already suspects both of being Mafia... if we can confirm that Snape is Mafia, we can then turn to those that he was 'investigating'...

That's just assuming Snape is Mafia, which we can't be 100% sure of until his role is revealed by Harry.

Whoa...way too many posts when I was typing that one. What I mean is we're just assuming Filch is mafia because we think Snape is. If we're going to lynch them both, we should make sure Snape IS mafia.
