[An iteration is that] you repeat a certain process.

The "process" of removing you from reality is an iteration. This is not an incorrect way to use it, though if this were a purely mathematical setting, be sure that I would have used any other number of applicable words.

I do have a sense of humor, but I'm not going to waste my A-material on people who suck at math and science, i.e., you and female engineers.

EDIT: I accidentally called you an engineer in my unedited post. That would have been tragic if that statement stood true.
