Hmmm. That sounds rather racist if you think that a song is okay if it's sung by a Japanese person in English lyrics but not okay if it's sung by an English speaking person in English lyrics. Or close to racist, anyway - it's certainly racial discrimination on some level or another. Hypothetical situation: If you had found out that it wasn't really Faye Wong that sung Eyes On You, but say... well, say Leona Lewis, would you suddenly dislike the song just because of the change of race of the singer? I find that absurd and disappointing.
