Going to Japan soon, what to buy?
SO I'm heading to Japan, and I'm thinking of replacing my dying/broken DS Lite with a DSi LL. Good idea? It's $200, and the battery life is better than the DSi.
I'm wondering if I would miss out on any good software or DLable content if I were to do this, and if so, is it REALLY worth waiting for the system to come out in the US for?

What does inb4 pocky mean? You can buy Pocky at local grocery stores now anywhere in the USA.

I've seen Pocky in American stores.
I've seen Pocky in Japanese stores.
You might be surprised at the variety.
As for the DSi thing, I would wait (if I didn't intend to get another one in the US anyway). If you ever did want to get downloadable stuff, it would be somewhat difficult since you would need Japanese points. That stuff is region locked, and I believe future 'DSi exclusive' games *will* be region locked.
That's the main thing that kept me from importing a DSi, because I have only had Japanese DS lites since they came out.
Games I recommend: Jump Ultimate Stars, Ouendan/Ouendan 2, Daigasso! Band Brothers DX.

My girlfriend bought my Ouendan! It will go perfect with my Taiko no Tatsujin games ^_^. I'll pick it up when I see her in January.
And as far as I hear about the DSi exclusive games, they aren't going to be that much home to write home about. Not like it's going to be the FF games that are going to be exclusive.

1.Swing by Super Potato in Akihabara and buy games that are rare in the US and common in Japan.
2. Sell them on eBay.
