I also really like Sazh, for many of the reasons that you guys have said, he's just so realistic and funny too. I don't actually have a problem with any of the characters, which is great. (:

Srsly Sazh is liek one of the greatest characters in any game ever. Second only to Wakka itbt.

I would play this game just for Sazh. I like the other characters and all, but just Sazh is enough to sustain my interest. Not to build it all up in your head and make crazy expectations, but I <3 him long time.

I've seen comments from many people that Sazh is a stereotype. I'm not really sure how. Because he has an afro? So any black person in a game or other media with an afro is a stereotype? I don't know what else it could be. He has a black voice actor? He's reluctant to fight? I think any reasonable normal person would react the same way he does in these situations.

I think it's more racist for people to automatically brand him as a stereotype than the actual portrayal on the screen. Like all the others in this thread I think Sazh is awesome.
