Did he slap her?
Something has been bugging me for a while.
After Cloud gives Sephiroth the black materia,he come to his senses and asks Aerith "what have I done?!" (or something like that) and...did he slap her? We can hear slapping sounds and the other party member just jump down the cliff yelling for Cloud to stop.
I just wanted to make sure what the hell happened there.
I thought that he beat her up. I don't know why, this might just be me.
He hit that.
Yeah, he went absolutely apeon her. It was as if he Mimed Tifa's Limit up to Final Heaven.
He assaulted her.

I'm surprised how little thought I've ever given to the fact that Cloud basically abuses Aeris physically. She must have been beaten up pretty badly, I mean he's supposed to be some tough guy and she looks particularly fragile.
Even the game doesn't really dwell on it.
He doesn't even apologize when he talks to her in his dreams.
But yeah,Cloud's very strong and she doesn't look like she received a beating.

Yeah, I can't remember if the dialogue was automated. 'Cause if not, you could hear Cloud really wail on her for... well, ever if you can hold out that long.
