"I can't carry the ring. But I can carry you, Mr Frodo!"

    I sobbed like a child.
There is no signature here. Move along.

When was the last time you cried EoFF? What about?
I don't cry William I'm a man, you should try being one sometime.

I just watched that last night!

Because I'm one hell of a butler.

Saw this the other day and it was one of the few times I cried from sheer horror. Shooting beloved family pets over what ended up being a very small amount of marijuana, add this to the list of reasons why people hate the police.
The worst part about that video? It's not even an uncommon occurrence. That particular video went viral, but those practices are infuriatingly ubiquitous.

I find that somewhat shocking. Maybe I'm blinded by bias because my family is full of fantastic, professional, and animal loving members of the police force, but the idea of that is shocking. That video was mostly just confusing to me, because it seems so disconnected from the reality I know of most police officers that I met through my family. It seemed almost too surreal to be disturbing.

It's horrible to think that there are officers that can get away with that though. That man looked so broken when he found out about his doggies...

The problem is that the good police officers won't "rat" on the bad ones, and the very rare few that do are quickly ostracized and in some cases even run out of the force entirely. The Blue Wall of Silence leaves some pretty terrible people with a scary amount of power.

I can't comment on the specific members of your family, but police departments tend to breed a "we can do whatever the smurf we want" mentality. And when officers are very rarely held accountable, it leads to bullying, cover-ups, going after and killing people who annoy you, and killing dogs.
