Ultros: Octopus Royalty

Let's discuss the Ultros.

It had been quite a time since I had played the game, so I had totally forgotten about Ultros, the self-proclaimed "Octopus Royalty". He had some truly hilarious lines in the game, and he's a quite damaged individual, in spite of being "Octopus Royalty".

"Silence! You are in the presence of octopus royalty! A lowborn thug like you could never defeat me!"

Ultros was good fun. Didn't really ever play an important role, though, did he? More like comic relief. But I enjoy that sort of comic relief in games, and I miss it nowadays.

Nah, he wasn't terribly important (in spite of being OCTOPUS ROYALTY ), but like you said, he was a great addition.

Ultros was fantastic. Just fantastic. I wish he played a slightly bigger role in the WoR, but at least he's mentioned/can be found at the Colosseum. A lot of other characters just disappeared without a trace.

Just noticed that he has a cameo in fights on Dissidia. Thought that was pretty cool.

yeah the side characters were badass. ultros, lonewolf, sigfreid, and others. so weird and full of personality for how much stage time they had. compared to many of the main characters that (in my opinion) were sort of blah.

i mean, come on, "one more step and i ice this moogle"? so own.
