The Tudors: The Complete Story of England's Most Notorious Dynasty by G.J. Meyer
Death by Black Hole: And Other Cosmic Quandaries by Neil deGrasse Tyson

With about three dozen books waiting in the wings to be read. I'll probably drop everything and consume Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss the second that I can get my hands on a copy, though.
