We were thinking Sunday at 9am, but it's possible that we'll be able to stay with my uncle in La Jolla. If so, we can stay for two nights, which means we'd go to the zoo on Saturday 10am instead. Would that work better? I'll update you when we know for sure.
On the topic of changing plans, we're going to Disneyland on 4/11 instead. Sorry!
And yes, Shorty will act as my personal chauffeur.

4/11 is a Monday. =( What are your plans for the weekend prior? Are you staying somewhere near Anaheim?
Anyway, I think you'll have a lot of fun at San Diego Zoo! Some things to look forward to:
Gorons.
Polar bears sleeping in kiddie pools.
Lions that want to eat you (and have a spray range of 7-10 ft.).
Tigers that play like house cats.
A lynx that sleeps in a hammock.
Pandas.
Panda bags (I still use mine to this day!)
Panda cups (free refills all day if you buy one of these)
Tip: Don't make barley tea in your giant panda cup. It's been a year and a half, but I still can't get the smell of barley tea out of my cup!

Well, we'll be staying in Goleta which is about 2 hours from Anaheim, and we're arriving Sunday evening, so not much time to hang out then, sadly. We may be able to for just a bit, I'm unsure. Where do you live?
Alternatively, if we can crash at your place for a night (or two), we can be there a day (or two) early and have that much extra time to hang outHotel costs are basically what's keeping us from staying the full weekend in addition to Monday and Tuesday.
Okay. MB, here are our plans for the Anaheim area right now:
4/10 we'll be staying in Costa Mesa so we can spend the day at Balboa island.
4/11 we're going to Disneyland and then heading up to Goleta for our concert.
4/12 we'll head back into Anaheim to spend a few hours before heading home east.
Pretty much what Rantz said - we're being sticklers about spending money on hotels. We'd love to hang with you for a few hours Sunday night.
Orrr if you and Jeremy have room at your place for us, maybe we could come on Saturday night and we could all go to Disneyland Sunday?

While you're in San Diego, hit up Sushi Deli 2 and order the baked scallop dynamite. Oh my god it's so good. I'm dying just thinking about it. There might be long lines, but it's pretty much the cheapest sushi/sake place in all of SD.
Also, when you go to Disneyland, make sure to grab fast passes for the World of Color show right away! Thatmade me cry, I loved it so much.
