I got free drinks when I went to Hong Kong. The bartender knew me, and one time I managed to briefly go there dressed 'not to impress' (track pants). I didn't stay long bc I just wanted to stop by.

When I met Claire [she was from France] there, the bartender gave us all (some 15 of us) free drinks.

Of course I did; it usually ends up much cheaper than what I would spend on drinks if I paid for all of them.
