Correct!

The Edea card is strong in the north (A) and east (A), weak in the south (3) and west (3), so it's obviously placed in the lower left corner (southwest) in regular play.

It's not related to edema. Admittedly this is obscure. A triple bypass reroutes blood around blocked coronary arteries. Corona is Latin for crown, hence triple bypass refers to the 3 Royal Crowns the Edea card can be refined into.
