Another fun story: when I was about 15/16 I wanted to read Jurassic Park. So my mom took the paperback, went through, crossed out every swear word and replaced it with a euphemism in ink pen. Who would have thought people say "DARN" and "HECK!" as they run from bloodthirsty velociraptors and T-rexes?

A fun game some people play is to do the opposite of that to The Twits by Roald Dahl. It involves finding every instance of "twit" and changing it to "twat."
