The whole gunsmith thing, old bean. It's giving me a rather distinct sense of deja vu. Like I already said, I'm not entirely ready to just dismiss your role claim as being bunk just yet, because the random "do things to get an assigned power" is something that's been used before, as I said it just all rings a bit familiar for me.

I want you to convince me somehow, though. I'm not quite ready to swallow the cop claim just yet. I want to believe. In you. After all, you've still not learned manners yet.

I'm not really sure what's left for me to say to convince you.

I did try to play a little differently this time, like you have. Since I got a role that pretty much dictated me to be active, I decided to play it up a bit and be more active than I typically am in the first few days. I had little to lose. I went a little 'full on' because I wanted to stir the pot and get people active, since that is what we need to figure out the scumbags. I was a bit disappointed that it resulted in me getting a lot of Day 1 votes, but that's mafia. If I go now it will hurt the town, but at least it will confirm Weaver is not a Sane Cop, or maybe not a Cop at all. All I know is that she has a gun. As a mafia she would have no reason to make a cop claim at this point, but stranger strategies have been played.

It would be too risky to vote her out, but again I want to also point out it's risky to vote me out on one freaking result. That's why I say we vote that slippery Johnson, and give me and Weaver a chance to get more information.

My biggest mistake was probably getting so blinded by Jackson's gimmickry pointless confusion over third parties that I was sure it was a trick.

What information could you get though? You may end up getting a shoddy non-investigative or non-protective role if you live tonight that won't really help. Let's say you are telling the truth, but do you have restrictions to what roles you can get like for instance, can you not get roles that are already in play?

I didn't suspect you Jason Day 0, but I certaintly suspected you Day 1, and I would think that out of all the people that were on your list as suspects from either of those days, it would have made more sense for you to investigate them, but you're saying by my last vote switch at the very end that I'm suspicious. Let me explain that to you.

My top suspects were Sam Jackson and Seagal throughout the day. One died, and the other was pretty much confirmed by the death. Yes, I did vote for some others but those feelings were mild and mainly to get discussion going. Your behavior at the end of the day was enough to tip the scales. Your explanation for it is certainly plausible now, but I didn't have it when I had to make my decision. It was late, I had just gotten the role, so I made a snap decision based on what I had just read.

I really don't buy it though Stat Stat especially since you waited until after I role claimed to say you investigated me. If I had role claimed Gay Fairy Ballerina Whore you would've said afterward that I had a filthy tutu. It's hard to believe you after the fact.

Oh, I don't presume to get an investigative role each time. As far as I know the roles are completely random. It just says I audition for a "role". I don't want to directly quote the pm too much because that's not in the spirit of the game, but that's what it says.

What I meant by information is that I will gladly share what role I got and what I did with it (if anything). That's information for the town to decide if I'm a liar or not, and, hopefully it's a useful role that actually provides real information.

Oh I completely understand that, and unfortunately that's what happens on a busy schedule. I really have nothing I can say to that except that I would have had the same result regardless of what you posted and it's just a matter if you believe me and will give me another chance, or not.

I agree, though in my recent conversations with Bruce, I don't get scum vibes. He's clever, though, so he could be anything. I definitely think Diesel is someone to be wary of since he's been lying low and flying under the radar.

I will go review his posts now and see if anything pops up.

Well, since the guy only has 6 posts, I decided to just quote them all.

So it seems like so far we've just had typical first day shenanigans, which doesn't give me much to go on, but is it me or is there something wrong with the last vote count put up? 3 for Arnie but only 2 people, 2 for Clint but 3 people... Possibly a mistake, or someone has a vote that counts for two and another's vote doesn't count.

Hence why I said that they were the most obvious. They've been talked about the most and have said quite a lot themselves. It's a bit difficult to talk about say, Uma, when she hasn't posted yet, or someone who has made only a few posts.

To answer your question Statham, the most obvious suspects at this point are Arnie, Clint and Seagal, for me. Arnie in particular is worrying me, because he's talking a lot but he doesn't really say anything, you know? It seems like he's trying to be active just for the sake of being active and coming across as helpful, whilst not really adding anything. Of course he could just be an eager townie, but regardless he's one I'm going to keep my eye on closely. Clint and Seagal just rub me the wrong way, but that's not enough for me to put a vote on either of them at this point.

Just want to say quickly that I'm posting from a tablet, so I apologise if it takes me a while to respond and for any weird autocorrects that may pop up from time to time in my posts.

Sorry for not being here all day, I need some time to read through the thread, but just a quick skim through reveals a lot has happened today.

Really only one post of substance in which he responds to me asking him to actually participate. And, even in that post, he makes some general accusations without ever committing himself, and amusingly accuses Arnold of trying to look active without adding anything when he's been doing almost exactly that. No votes either.

His last post was about him going back to read the thread but looks like he never even did that.

Also, this reminds me of something else so I'll be right back.
