It was one of the mods I used, I just wanted to try her out with a ponytail.

So our Journey continues, Carl, Aulayna and Snacks battle their way to the pillar which for now remains in tact... knowing Marlene is in danger, Snacks asks Aulayna if she will save her as she and Carl battle their way to to the top...


Reno, no match for Avalanche, arms the bomb and makes a break for freedom.


Having surmised that this is no ordinary bomb Carl does nothing, as Tseng reveals the awful truth about the bomb as he escapes having captured Aulayna...


Plate fallen... DK assumes the worse... until Snacks reveals that Marlene is actually safe with Aulayna's mother.

Having revealed Marlene's survival, Carl, DK and Snacks head to Aulayna's house to break the news to her mother... then stumble upon the truth that Aulayna is in actual fact the Last of the Cetra...

Carl, DK and Snacks decide it high time the Shinra are held accountable for crimes against humanity... they plot the revenge upon the Shinra and seek out Shinra HQ.


Arriving at Shinra HQ, Carl, DK and Snacks decide it would be better for them to sneak in without causing a commotion.


Having climbed half way up and listening to DK's endless moaning, Snacks -Bitch she is- snaps and doesn't hold back letting DK have it right in the chest.

Having run amok and murdered an endless amount of random unfortunate Shinra employee's Carl n co' are promptly arrested... until Sephiroth makes an appearance, killing the President and making off with his mothers body... Carl, realising what this means, tells the rest of the crew to get to safety as he battles Rufus on the roof.


Carl, tells it as it is to newly promoted Shinra President Rufus... Battle commences and Rufus makes a swift getaway.


Trapped, DK defends the rest of the crew from the gunmen surrounding the building... but it seems there is no way out...


...until they remember they are terrorists, and have no qualms about stealing Shinra vehicles and make a daring dash across the highway to escape Midgar.


Having murdered countless persuers and blown the trout out of one of the Shinra's favourite toys, Carl n Co' say their fair well to Midgar.

It looks super funky how everyone is the same height as their chibi character models would have been. It's especially silly when they stand near chairs and doors. They look like tiny little kids. That and the aspect ratio are the two main reasons I decided not to mod. I couldn't find any pictures of the mods that weren't stretched super wide like that. When round barstools look oval, you know you have a problem.

Cloud in a dress was disappointingly lacking in flamboyance and purpleness. And he apparently stopped using as much hair gel with this mod.

Sam is obviously the best Tifa...

Sam is only the best for a certain part of Tifa.

At least, I'm told they have very similar thumbs.

I have been neglecting this thread entirely to much, I confess I have found myself caught up in playing the game lol and I am really enjoying it... a lot more then I usually do but once I get to a point I will probably do a post per day updating this.

Normally when I play I rush through maybe listening to an audio book while playing, this time though I have made a point of exploring everywhere, stealing from every enemy that counts (after following a guide) and generally going about completing everything I can in a bid to 100% the game.

Sure I have no intention of leveling Aerith to level 99, but I have spoken to every NPC and have gotten a greater feel for the game as well, I think I am going to update my challenge to level all my characters (minus Aerith) to level 99 and get all their limits as well.

As we pick up where we left off we see our band head off to Kalm as Carl seeks to explain the true threat to the planet: Sephiroth, and what happened at Niblheim 5 years ago...


Sephiroth gives sage advice as we begin our tour of Niblheim.


Carl, Snacks and Sephiroth pose for a picture jest before descending into the reactor.


SOLDIER 1st Class Carl shares his insight on Materia...


Inside the reactor, Shinra show their true colours... as Sephiroth uncovers some unusual facts about his past.


Having discovered the truth, Sephiroth goes insane and burns Niblheim to the ground killing many.


Face to face at last, Carl confronts Sephiroth... and the flashback draws to an end.
