Sephiroth took the time to explain something to Tifa.... this is really a special moment! I think it is helpful to create a positive image of Sephiroth.

Lucia: That is such an intense picture! You can't tell where they'll land due to that ominous fog! Incredible.
edit to add content--
Aimio Nagi: I really like this picture. It surprised me how knowledgeable Sephiroth was regarding mako and its production. He seemed like a seasoned professor when educating the "children" during their tour. It's unnerving to think that someone who appeared to be such a gentleman could turn into such a monster later on. Sephiroth's character development is amazing.

Could've used this before, but I preferred saving it for this part (I find myself struggling to listen to On That Day Five Years Ago for too long!).

Really loved the dark colors and glowing effects in roman's work! Very majestic!![]()
Harmony and Distortion coexist together to support every creature and landscape in the world, including the forces of good and evil. That is how the world keeps on living with a strong balanced composition.

Sudden Reaction when both Amanda and Dragonite
see a romantic Final Fantasy love scene:
Amanda: Aww, this is so romantic! They would make a great couple together!
Dragonite: Kiss, Kiss, Kiss, Kiss... C'MON! KISS ALREADY!
Amanda:Drag, you have no patience whatsoever.
Holy trout at the orthopedic underwear art xD Well played.
Sabina: The angle is perfect here! How menacing this factory is... Nice!

When I first played the game I got really immerse with the story. This part in particular really shine on the experiments that Shinra, or at least Hojo's, on human life and pretty much creating a form of monsters. Then to think who would do such a thing and question Hojo's sanity and why. It was still a confusing part of the story but it did make a whole lot of great drama and the satisfactory to find answers at the end.

The monster in the tube gave me nightmares, I won't even lie. That was trippy... Great work, Utena, especially in the monster's face---or should I say, human... >_> I really want to see this game remade someday.

There's a mixture of both sympathy and fear. A frightening moment where I begun to realise the turning point of Sephiroth about to 'snap'. Within an instant, the build up of trust you had felt for the character tears into shreds before your eyes, even through the eyes of Cloud.

Fun fact: Due to a "double booking", both of the above artists did the same scene. They had no idea of each other's artwork, yet chose the same angle, before and after a swinging motion of the Masamune, despite it not being the same angle as in the game. They also placed Cloud in the same position, despite this not being his position in the game (he was on a level below, on the other side of the reactor).
Uncanny. Yet the results are, as you can see, amazing!

Great lightning effects on chwee's piece!
