Final Fantasy V Review (Spoilers)

It makes me want go go and pick it back up! It's been to long.

I was in a similar boat to you. Before this review I haven't played FFV since 1999. That's 16 years! No excuses for me. Shame on me!

I did like the break from super serious stuff with this game. I wish we got it in the US when it was originally released, but then again, I did appreciate it in a different light when I finally played the fan translated ROM all those years ago. The only thing that bugs me about this one is that if you want a couple of decent abilities to carry over the game does seem to expect the player to grind some.

I can understand the frustration, but at the same time I can't blame a RPG for wanting the player to grind to get something good. I'd assume that's the whole point behind grinding.
