I'm hoping to see more on how towns will work out and maybe a sneak peak of a few summons. Hope to see a combat trailer showing off magic and maybe we'll finally get a release date out of them.
True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
What Wolf said, I'd like to know more on the towns. See more of the battle system as it looks like a minor concern for me at the moment. Magic and summons are also high on my list to get a peek of.
^ Hopefully we get to see all of that and more! There are murmurings that there are going to be various stage demos of Final Fantasy XV. Personally I'm holding out for a story trailer that sheds more light on the ending of Episode Duscae.
You've lost me. Please elaborate. Is that something to do with Nintendo?
I'm 95% sure we'll get a release date at Gamescom, during the last ATR they said Gamescom would be the start of the games ''promotional run'' (or something to that effect). The date will be around April 2016. SE tends to like there early in the year launches, they won't want to launch in the holidays with the Fallouts, Call of Duty's, Halo's etc....
The game is very far along at this point and SE have to get it out relatively soon if they want KH3 and the FF VII Remake to launch this console generation :S
An on stage demo has already been confirmed, I think we get a story trailer with the release date aswell.
I hope you're 95% right!
It's interesting to see Square Enix choose a European event to start the full campaign for FFXV. The gaps between launch dates of FF games being released in the East and West have been shrinking over the years, so it would be amazing to see a world wide release!
I think a simultaneous worldwide launch is a given at this point, considering Episode Duscae's launch in both Japanese and dubbed English. SE seems to have caught up with the rest of the development community and are doing Dubbing/Translation during development rather then leaving it to the end.
Considering how large the EU/US gaming market is now they really can't afford not to, I'd be surprised if Japan even equates to 10% of FF XV's final sales.
^ In regards to that the latest copy of Famitsu has apparently been leaked, and SE have confirmed with them that the game will indeed get a simultaneous (thank you for reminding me of that word, I couldn't for the life of me remember in the above post) world wide release. Like you say it's pretty much a given but I still wouldn't want to get my hopes up without proper confirmation.
HURRY UP, GAMESCOM.
Apparently no new footage

Loki: I have an army.
Stark: We have a HULK!
Well, I hope that's a mistranslation/misunderstanding, because if not that's just stupid, bordering on insane.
That means the only things that might matter are the Active Time Report and those Q&A sessions.
I'll be pleased if we get either a new trailer or a release date either way, but I can't for the life of me figure out why SE would spend all that stage time having people play through the same old demo over and over and over again.
I like Kung-Fu.

No new footage, eh Push Square? Suck it.
