Blake's 7. It ran until 1981, but in started in 1978.
A solid bit of space opera, with a surprisingly dark, dystopian edge at times.
Plus, Servalan was totally awesome.![]()
The only show I've seen out of those is Happy Days which was a bit crap. I've heard great things about MASH and Taxi though.
As a fully-fledged Brit I have to echo the mentions of Fawlty Towers. I was also partial to Dad's Army, Monty Python's Flying Circus and Not The Nine O'Clock News.
Not many of them shows got airtime when I was younger. I used to look at The Walton's as a kid.
