Is Eggnog a food or a drink?

With the quantity of eggs contained within it, I'm more inclined to say food.

You drink it. It's not even debatable. At least with soup you could argue that some people it it while others don't use spoons and just drink it up, but you don't eat eggnog.

I consider raw eggs by themselves to be a drink so adding another drink to it just keeps it as a drink.

If we were to consider things to be food just because another thing that is sometimes food is included in it then anything that contains sugar would be a food.
