Dancing Chocobo Any Final Fantasy TCG collectors?

    Hi guys,

I was curious to ask if anyone is a collector for the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game? The cards are all Japanese as they never released them outside of Japan but you can grab some booster boxes and packs off Amazon and eBay.

I started collecting them last year (roughly a few months ago).

    They're designed really nicely.

Here's a couple of my favourites from my collection so far ~

If you've never seen the TCG before and want to take a look at the cards currently available you can see a full list ordered by card element and which set they are from here:

Seems like a shame that they've just used old artwork for the cards, I could literally have made those designs using photoshop. I think if they had commissioned artists to draw original work for them then I would probably be more interested.

I can completely see where you're coming from with that, all of the cards are a mixture of old photos, amano designs, concept arts and none of them are new commissioned works it would have been nice to see fresh pictures you're right but they are very nice quality cards despite the lack of new images. Maybe in the future they might incorporate new art, it'd certainly be nice to see. Pokemon cards are always new illustrations by various artists.

Damn, I love this kind of nerdy stuff. Sounds very much like Magic from the wikia description. Pity it's not out outside of Japan
