Except that they're probably too old for most of you smurfing kids to remember. "The Backstreet Boys weren't even cool" you whine with your prepubescent voice. "smurf you" I say, "and come back when your balls have dropped." We might be sort of strangely homoerotic at times and have a distinct lack of masculinity at others but just because guys like to touch other guys doesn't mean it's gay and being gay is fine too okay I have love for all my brothers and sisters (but incenst is not wincest okay kids). I mean I'm pretty sure at least three of them are women, and you could have very valid arguments for the rest. But I'm digressing again. We have a strong bunch of dudes here, and I want everybody to realise that, no matter the outcome, I'm better than smurfing all of you we're in this together. Men are what make EoFF strong, you realise. Women couldn't have hosted the Elections; they didn't even figure out how to vote until like the 60s. Women could never host the Gang Wars; they abhor violence and spend all their time knitting and baking. Hell, a woman couldn't even host the Ciddies; they had to get a feminine-styled robot to do it for them because it was "too much hard word" (foa) and "would wreck my new nails" (Shlup).

So guys, you gotta remember, we're the master race here at EoFF. With that comes power. Power that we should abuse. Let's ban the colour pink and send the women (of which there should be none; there are neither women on the internet, nor women outside the kitchen as per rule #15) out of here. I mean Laddy might have to go with them because he probably loves the colour a whole lot but we'll hold a memorial service for him. It'll be swanky, we'll theme it like Survivor and we can get the host from the show there and he can be all dramatic and extinguish Laddy's torch and be like "I'm sorry Laddy, but you are not the EoFF Survivor" and then he'll cry and we'll cry and it'll be tears of manliness. He'll be a loss but for the men of EoFF to stand united sometimes you gotta make sacrifices.

So when the time comes to reveal the winner of EoFF's Mister Man award, don't forget about all the other men out there who are just as much manly men as the rest of us men may be. I mean Cuch is probably more of a man than me and Iceglow despite his big talk is probably less and I don't even know what realm Sylvie lies in. Don't forget about those men too. Samuraid is one of the unsung heroes of EoFF. He doesn't have a staff title (it says Former Staff but he really is current staff), and he doesn't talk a big game like many of the other admins. But when it comes to technical know-how, he is our go-to guy. Any time there is a problem with the site or forums we can go to him and he will run diagnostics, perform tests, and make fixes while the rest of us scratch our heads.

Recently, the EoFF server turned into a big pile of steaming dung. Samuraid was the one who performed the necessary tests to determine the problem, found a better and faster server at an affordable price, and even took the lead in making the transfer itself to ensure EoFF didn't crumble during the process. If it weren't for him we'd still be seeing 5 minute load times for each thread and the Ciddies probably wouldn't have happened at all. And even now he is helping to put procedures in place that ensure we handle this issue with greater speed should it happen again in the future.

He's also a pretty awesome guy and I've never heard him complain about doing a job here which would probably cost the owners a bundle in the corporate world. Thank you for your hard work SamuDan!

Oh man, Pike is crazy awesome. She's all doing stuff, and doing things. Particularly the every-things, which she is heavily involved with. She updates Twitter, she updates Facebook, she's very involved in the forums leadership and she comes up with fantastic ideas. I had lots of fun participating on the forums ever since I have been active again. Though I didn't win anything, I still very much appreciate the votes that I did get. I had fun following this thread all day and night! Also, I am glad so many of you liked the video that Jiro and I worked on together for the Cidde 32 speech! I'll have you all know that Pike did an amazing job not just with winning everything but also putting out a great performance in creating Award Bot. There were a lot of high quality speeches from other people and you can rave about mine being good but I will ignore you because that's just the way I'm. Anyway, thank you to Sephex, Proto, Psychotic and Bubbaforever in particular who let me do some collaborative work with them which greatly reduced my load. Hope y'all had a fun time, and hopefully the revelations thread was as much fun to read as it was to live.

Oh, bollocks, I totally would have been here yesterday for the revelations but I spent all last night (and most of today) playing Final Fantasy XIV. Which, in case I haven't mentioned it before, is genuinely good now.
