I just got my tickets for the Sufjan Stevens concert next month! I'm so stoked for this as he is one of the artists I've most wanted to see play live. I believe Sigur Ros will be the last band on my bucket list that I hope to see someday.

Despite the sad news today, I heard a funny story from my Mam.

Mam tells me she's had Magnum at the vets - and my first thought it "oh GOD more sad dog news" well...

Magnum was playing with Dolly (Mam's new puppy) yesterday and while they were playing, Dolly bit his balls :lol: well, apparently he jumped up into the air so high and was mortified - walking around with his arse tucked in :lol: :lol: the vet gave her some cream originally, but he wouldn't let her anyway near his back end - so she had to go and get a spray on solution, so she's just telling me about how she's spraying Magnum's tender balls/arse/leg area and I'm crying laughing imagining it. Ahahahaha :lol: :lol: :lol:

Started my day walking a few blocks to the coffee shop with my sister for a latte and the greatest cheese danish I've ever had the pleasure of tasting, spent most of the day Buffy-watching with Psychotic, got an armful of awesome books I've been wanting to read from free libraries, had a nice light lunch and walked back to the cafe to have banana cream pie for dinner while talking about our family, and now we are having cheap-yet-amazing red wine while we binge-watch Game of Thrones. And my puppy's leg is healing pretty okay! It was a good day. :jess:

I levelled up my piano skills. Like actual RPG style where all your stat increases come at once after an hour of tedious grinding. Yesterday I was just as mediocre at the piano as I have been for the last few months. Today, I had a better sense of rhythm, was reading notation faster, could instinctively hit a lot more correct notes and improvise in the correct key.

This must be how Cloud felt when he learned Cross Slash...

Since club Nintendo is about to go down tomorrow, I entered the codes for as many games as I possibly could and got three free games out of the deal. Also will be getting my Mewtwo Smash Bros. codes when they give those away. Better late than never on my part!

My wonderful Dad has upgraded danny and I to business class for our flight to Dubai on Friday evening. So thankful.

The bronchitis I have REALLY cleared up in the last few hours. I had some nasty back pain, along with other areas in my upper torso that hurt badly because of how much I been coughing. Suddenly, most of it cleared up today and the pain I have is much more manageable.

My bf's been home since this past Wednesday.

His foot's been messed up since just before his parents left. He thought it was gout, but with the pain going on for so long, I made him go to a walk-in clinic and get it looked at. The doctor there kind of decided that he has arthritis, but he has to get blood work done to determine what kind (which he's getting done tomorow).. He's been put on pretty much bed rest though. And while it kind of sucks having to wait on him hand and foot, it's been nice getting to hang out with him more.

I seriously don't get sick of him being around ever. I mean, yeah, I love me some alone time, but I love even more when my boo is home and we're just hanging out in our bedroom. He's home for the week. And the doctor gave him some good painkillers along with some other stuff... He gave me his painkillers 'cuz he's awesome.

We've mostly been laying in bed marathoning Power Rangers until 5 a.m. .. It's been awesome.

Mr Beagle has gone to his new home. It's kind of bittersweet for me because I loved him, but I'm so overjoyed to see that he's been rehomed permanently! He's now living with an OAP who is planning on spoiling him rotten. It's made me happy to see he's gone to someone who needed him more than I did.

Technically today way early at work I busted my ass and made sure I caught up on a lot of work that I really needed to get to. That should make tonight easier, I hope.

Also, fell into a deep sleep. I didn't realize how bad I needed it until it actually happened. I think being sick just irritated my body where for over a week I never fell into the deepest possible sleep. I totally overslept, but I feel refreshed as if I got a regular 7 to 8 hour sleep.

After a bit of a non gaming funk I was in, I broke it by playing Ninja Gaiden (Sigma version for PS3). That game is still as hard as I remembered it, but despite not playing it extensively since the original Xbox version, I was much better anyway. Basically playing a game with that much intensity really pulled me out of the place I was in, and now I feel back in the groove of things. I think part of it was just being so sick. But yeah, I feel good!

Just got a nice message on my 'girl friend tinder' as I call it. A nice girl who has two cats and is obsessed with all things British wants to be my friend. She's also Malaysian and loves cooking so I'm thinking I'm well in there for delicious food. She has a degree in languages and culture, loves to have long discussions, and she loves disney and I think I have a bit of a girl/intellectual crush on her for that.

Took a small break from my daily happiness things because I felt like I was the only one carrying the thread, and I felt like I was being really annoying. So to make up for that lost ground...

Summed up happiness of collective days: Despite being in a bad spot mentally recently, I did manage to kick ass at work and cover a lot of what I wanted to get done. I also had a major realization recently (see latest thread I made in The Lifestream) that really has helped me out and made me look at life more positively. Also, a lot of people have supported me and encouraged me in heartwarming ways in relation to that event, and I am very thankful because of that. Also, I am going to go to C2E2, which is a comic convention. I haven't gone to something like that since 2011, so I am excited to do something like that again even though I am more of an observer rather than a participant in situations like that.

Today: Went to parents house. Sometimes my dad will come home kind of moody for work related reasons. I usually stay quiet and let him work things out. Not today. I assaulted him with happiness and a positive attitude and I think it rubbed off on him a bit. Also spread a lot of positivity online today. Some people are apparently shocked and think something is wrong with me, which amuses me. I even had a friend ask if I was being sarcastic. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised since I was recently very toxic online because I a bad mental place a week or two ago, as mentioned in the last paragraph. Also, sort of in general. Not going to worry about it, though! I'm sure I'll eventually get in a bad mood, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there. I feel good, and I want others to be happy.

-Yesterday I went to a restaurant to get some takeaways for Spuuky and I, and after talking to the owner for a bit about her business, she wrote me a gift certificate which exceeded the amount we had spent that evening! :jess:

-Today I got to work up one position, so effectively I doubled my pay for the day while doing less work :ohdear:

Had a really good talk with my father about positivity and whatnot. He got a little bit too hippieish for my liking, but his overall thoughts were really well constructed and whatnot. While I was at the gym yesterday, working my butt off, sweating a ton, a fit girl came up to me and stopped me. She said "You go girl! You're a beast. I could not do that. I just wanted to tell you that you're doing a good job!" I said thank you in a heave of heavy breathing. She went on "I've seen you in here a few times and you're always pushing yourself hard. Keep at it, You're going to get super fit. I just wanted to say, Damn girl, You rock." I was a little startled by it but it was the thing I needed to push through and finish my sets. It made me happy. I've been working my butt off and not seeing too much of a result cause this stuff takes time and i'm impatient. But someone noticed how hard i've been working. It was such a lovely boost of confidence :D

I have no attachment to my hometown at all. And I'm always like "I don't have friends" and I'm fine with that notion.

But... There actually are people who are practically begging me to go visit them. Not just people.. My very first best friend that I love dearly and another friend that I love very much and hadn't been in contact with in ages.

It's just incredible that there are people that care so much about me that they're willing to drive 3 hours to Nashville from our hometown to pick me up from the airport so that I can hang with them for however long in our hometown. And then drive me back.

I'm so lucky to have these wonderful women in my life. And aside from them- I'm very thankful to have the friends that I have.

Learned a pretty cool hoop trick today and pretty stoked about that. Still can't keep it on my waist for too long but I can pass it from hand to hand so... yeah, feel pretty shit hot.

Good luck! It will take a bit to get it to stay up but when you get it, it becomes waaay easier to do more. Once you have it going around well, try the other way. It'll be super hard but if you get the basic hooping down it'll make the rest of the hooptricks and your flow so much easier. Then you gotta get chest hooping down (i'm still bad at that) and leg hooping. The cool tricks are cool but if you can get transitioning through the different parts of your body, it'll be easier. I'm still very new myself as I don't practice enough but I can't tell you how much easier it got once I had hooping most body parts down.

GOOD LUCK! Hooping is super fun! Eventually try looking into super nifty moodhoops (http://moodhoops.com/shop/) cause they are sooooo cool but super expensive x.x

In WoW there is this bird hiding in a tree in your garrison (base) and if you click him, he sits on your head for an hour. There's an achievement and you can get him whenever but in the next patch HE'S GETTING HATS. I'm stupid excited about a bird that sits on your head and the hats he will wear.

Yes! Added water weight to my hoop and it's sooooooo much easier now, and WOW what a workout it is! But I'm so fucking pleased man I kept the hoop on my waist for 2 minutes and was able to pull it back up when it was dropping. Gonna get some Duct Tape tomorrow and go all around it. I doubt my shoddy patchwork on the water hole will hold for too long so if I just cover it in Duct Tape it'll add a bit more weight too! So stoked man!

MissH and I tried a DIY trick when painting our skirting boards in the nursery and main bedroom. Line the edge of the carpet with gaffer tape and tuck it under so you paint the whole skirting board and get none on the carpet.

It worked perfectly and we now have perfect skirting boards. I'm well aware this makes me sound like a boring old fart but I really don't care :D

Haven't made one of these ever since I stopped posting every day (can't remember if I said this in the thread already, but I felt after awhile that I felt like I was just spamming this thread even with legit posts, so I decided to chill on it, especially since I think I proved a point to myself, along with a huge event in my life that really ended up helping me).

Anyway, had a great mother's day. What? I'm not a mom OR female?! Well, I made my mom happy. Then I took my parents out to see the Avengers since they haven't gone yet. It was just a real chill Sunday with a good movie. It also felt good doing something for them like that since they have taken care of me in a similar manner countless times.

I've lost about 9lbs since the last time I weighed myself (which was in the UK so, months ago, lol) but I've been eating better recently and working out a bit so I wonder if it's been quite recent. I'm really pleased with myself and so determined to lose this weight now!

I'm really struggling at the moment. Pregnancy has not been kind to me and I feel like I'm just a vessel to carry the baby and that's where it ends. I feel so worthless and not in the slightest bit special or treasured or anything. It's crap.

And then I go to work and although it's insanely stressful, my kids,I just love them more than words can explain, they just have this magical way of making me smile. They're so innocent and not at all fickle- they say what they think. Yes the other week one of them said I had a tummy as big as The Gruffalo (!!) but most days as soon as I see them they tell me how beautiful I look or that they think my hair looks pretty or they love my dress-even though I gave up wearing make-up a few weeks ago as my right eye is infected. They cuddle me at any moment they can, tell me they love me, that I'm the best teacher ever, that I can come to their party or to a sleepover at their house. A little girl came up to me today and gave me a huge hug and said "i wish i was allowed to kiss you to show you how much I lpve you!" So sweet. They just make my heart want to burst. Most of their parents dont realise how lucky they are to have such precious children. The area that I work in is pretty deprived and unfortunately most of the parents just don't care. So it falls to me to give the kids all the love and attention they need- which is pretty hard when I have 58 of them.

I have 9 days left til I go on maternity leave. I really can't wait as I'm under so much stress, but part of me is dreading not seeing their little faces every day and knowing how they are. I love them so much and it's their love that's keeping me going at the moment.

Fun fact*, did you know daughters of color blind men have a small chance to see more colors then the rest of the human race? Like it's a supppppper small percentage but when you're color blind your'e only using two cones. Normally we use 3. And these women have 4. It's called Tetrachromacy. Been playing Illusion of Gaia for the first time. Got stuck on a boss (well, two of them at once) a couple of days ago. Picked it back up today and I figured out a way to annihilate said boss and made a lot of progress today. This was a game that I knew about forever (Nintendo Power covered the HELL out of it back in the day), and I've seen a couple of friends play bits and pieces of it in recent years. I'm kicking myself for not playing it until now, but in a way I am glad I am playing it for the first time. I feel like I am playing a fresh SNES game even though I know the game is 21 years old, and I forgot how wonderful that feeling is.

Keep at it. The bosses can seem hard at first, but once you get it down you'll find yourself owning them in no time. The game keeps on getting better and better. Only problem I have with it is that the dialogue seems a bit rushed, but that can be forgiven considering the year the game came out. Plus, translations weren't consistently top notch at the time. The game is easy to understand and follow, but sometimes scenes go at a break neck pace!

Hung out with my new friends last night and partied. Was sooo much fun- we were up until like 6 a.m. drinking and talking and stuff. I went with my homegirl to the dentist today way out in Elmhurst. We rode the bus there, but then the dude we hung out with on Saturday night was in the area, so he picked us up and brought us home.


We ended up doing some light partying at her and her boyfriend's place (also my homie) and my girl and I wound up cooking dinner for the other guys that were there (her bf's brother and friends) and they loved it.

Mel & I just absolutely flowed together in the kitchen. It was so cool. Like everything we made was all finished at exactly the same time and it all tasted soo good.

And she gave me some of her jewelry.

She also got to actually meet and talk to my boyfriend today too, so we're all going to hang out together in Friday night to celebrate my bf's graduation. My girl and I are gonna cook dinner and we're going to play games and drink and its just gonna be awesome.

Had a lovely meal with MissH last night at CAU in Wilmslow. They fed her the wrong burger on our first visit which contained a cheese she can't have during pregnancy. We obviously complained so they invited us back for a complimentary meal by way of an apology.

We had a lovely cheese and bacon burger with sides of fries, onion rings and a tomato salad. Chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert. MissH had a couple of fabulous virgin mojitos. She looked gorgeous too!

Sooo, 3.5 weeks into my diet, and I've just pulled on a pair of jeans I bought last year in England that were a bad fit at the time. I also have a lot less muffin top too! :D They're still a pretty cheap, bad fit as they're denim jeggins so there is no zipper which affects how it lies on my hips, but... Got a message from my UK bank that I was overdrawn and I'm like "WHAT?" and immediately see red when I see they've been charging me for a service I cancelled months ago. So I hop on the phone to get it all dealt with, and going from previous experience I'm guessing that I'll get put through to every department, nobody will own up to their mistake, and I'll just be getting so mad at them.

Call up, get straight through, get put through to this woman who sees that, yes, I did cancel that service two months ago, and yes, I have been charged £20 wrongfully and it isn't my fault my account is overdrawn. She then tells me the charges will be cancelled and she's going to give me an extra £10 for having this happen, and then she's going to get me a further £15 for the fact I've had to call from overseas.

Was not expecting it, and it's actually made my day. I was all about ready to close my accounts with them and open with another bank because they've given me heaps of trout this year, but this has restored my faith!

So in my breaks today I've been using RES to tag people from the subreddit /r/fatpeoplehate. It's a subreddit where they find people on the internet and well are super jerks and hateful about fat people. A few weeks ago, they found my sister's sister in laws picture and proceeded to hate on it. Some included her overweight 17 yr old daughter. Which gained hate too. She had some photos done and well yeah. It was very sad and made me depressed.

So I decided to tag them all in red as "FPH-er". I tagged a good 300 today. It worked because I started seeing these tagged people in other subreddits I frequented. Almost always, they were saying other rude things. Like I saw one in r/zelda one was in r/gameofthrones etc etc So I knew to just avoid them.

I come back from lunch and the reddit admins banned the entire subreddit. It had like 100,000 subscribers. They are mad so now i'm seeing red tags EVERYWHERE on reddit complaining about "free speech". One already called me a "Fatty" because I posted a "oh this will be interesting." IT's so amusing and great and I'm happy. I just like to share the relevant xkcd comic

I'm very excited because Pheesh just booked up a VIP Gold Class ticket for my birthday next weekend to see Jurassic World! They have super comfy sofa seats that recline, and they bring out really delicious food to you while you watch the movie! And we get a glass of wine too! Eeeeeh! :D Want to go right now!

Had steak for dinner tonight <3 ... I probably shouldn't have spent so much on them, but it's Parker's first dinner/full day here so I wanted to do something special.

She got to meet my friend, but my friend like.. I don't know. She was talking about how she had her teeth pulled and is getting new ones and how she has almost no teeth now (omg it's really gross and I feel awful). I was like "..... omgwut."

So my Mum was nipping to Tesco and I realllyyy wanted to go (it's only a 5 min drive and I figured we wouldn't be long). So I was down the chocolate isle (naturally) and this guy with Tourettes was ticking away. He then walked past me and called me a fat b*tch!! He apologised immediately and was so mortified-I really felt for him! Thankfully I found it hilarious! It was made somewhat worse by the fact I was clutching a pack of chocolate biscuits at the time.

Certainly made breaking my bed rest worth while!

This made me happy yesterday and really just anything that has come out of E3 this year because almost all of it has been pure fire.

Another thing I'm particularly happy about is having someone else pay for my hotel and airfare and then paying me for my services in addition to that. I think I've finally (sort of) reached top tier freelance level by that account. I'm also particularly excited because a film is shooting where I will be going and someone just contacted me asking if I wanted to dip in on set for a bit if I have time. How he knew I was going to be there is creepy or maybe it's just good timing, hmm.

6 months ago, I thought I'd be visiting a grave today to wish my Dad Happy Father's Day, but against all the odds, he's still here! He kicked Leukaemia's ass and is still in remission and tonight (even though my energy reserves are pretty low at the mo) I'm cooking him and my beautiful family a 3 course meal to celebrate Father's day. My family mean the absolute world to me and I can't wait to have 5 become 6 in the coming weeks with the arrival of Baby Bubba. :love:
