Okay, so I've been scouring Craigslist and various apps for a house for rent (someone shoot me). Mostly Craigslist though.

The few houses that I've found that I -really- like, I emailed the owner (if it's not listed by a real estate agency)... WELL, 1 guy actually did email me back with his number.

Now. In each email, I've expressly said "What is your weight limit for dogs? We are planning to get a very large breed that -will- weigh 150 lbs+ along with a cat for my daughter".

Did this guy bother to read that? Of course not. Just sent me his number and all "Call me ASAP". (I didn't know that yet though).

So I call, and he's all "Yeah I got 3 other people interested. I'll send you a copy of the lease if you want. Do you have questions? I've got a 5 hr business meeting coming up and I don't have time to talk." and I'm like "All of my questions were asked in the email. You know.. Dog? Large breed? Cat? Deposits?"

And he immediately turns into a jerk.. "Oh yeah no, a 150 lb dog is just -not- compatible with that house. Yeah no no no. A smaller breed, definitely, but not a Newfoundland." and I'm like "Thanks for wasting both -mine- & your time!"

Ugh. So annoying.
