They keep emailing you because you make it fun for them. Pretty sure this blog entry just bought you at least one more email. I don't understand why you don't block them?

Whatever is going on, blocking is generally the best policy when receiving unwanted emails.

Okay fine, but y'all aren't the ones dealing with.

I shouldn't have to- whether I choose to block the emails or not.

I don't care if it prompts anymore emails, I'm not responding to anymore if I get them.

But the fact is, y'all wouldn't like it very much if it were you, would you? I'm pretty sure if you were in my shoes, you'd feel just as frustrated and angry as I do. Saying I should do this or that doesn't change the fact that it's already happened and it doesn't change how I feel about it. It doesn't change the fact that someone me (and everyone else) most likely knows is sick enough to send crap like this. It doesn't change the fact that this person may be in chat when I'm in there. I guess y'all don't think it's as big of a deal as I may be making it out to be, but it's very unsettling and disturbing.

How would you feel, Shlup, if Bailey were older, and an EoFFer, and some random person was sending grotesquely disturbing emails about her to another member? You wouldn't like it at all, would you?

No one should have to put up with this type of thing. That's my point.

No one's saying you should like it, or that we'd like it, or that anyone should have to put up with it. We are telling you pretty much the only way you have of actually stopping it though.

It's not that I don't sympathize, it just seemed to me the solution to the problem of being harassed through email is pretty clear.

As for not being able to go in chat or on the forums without wondering if someone in either place is a creep, well, that's kind of something that's true no matter where you go: internet or otherwise. You just never can tell with other people sometimes. But as long as there's no more harassment going on, does it matter that much? I'm sure that given some time you'll stop worrying about it as much. There's not much else that can be done about it I'm afraid.

they got it on NYE 'cuz me n crop n paula n plef had a skype call and I posted it in chat that night.

You're right, you are the one dealing with it... because you haven't blocked the person. How would I feel? Bored. Because when a troll tries to contact me, I would block them. How would I feel if someone were talking about my daughter? I can't control other people; I would ignore it.

You have enough to stress about as it is without having to deal with this, but you are dealing with it by your own choice.

That's sick. I'm sorry this is happening to you and it makes my day a little sadder knowing a regular here may well be the culprit
