I think its annoying unless you're kidding about it.
Aw, Lunar:SSSC is my favorite RPG ever along with FF7 <33
Lynx is baka kawaii neko-chan >;o Sugoi HADOKEN.
I find it funny ^_^ And I do it too whenever I remember to, because it amuses me that I don't know what most of the words I use mean, arigato mr.roboto ^_^
If I knew Japanese, I would probably do it. People, in California at least, will randomlly throw in bits of Spanish in conversation. I see no problem with spicing up coversation with diversity.
I remember one girl saying something was "baka" in the halls last year, and she didn't even say it right (she said it in the worst American accent ever, as "bay-ka" xD). And, yeah, I notice it in chat sometimes and I do get pretty annoyed, but I won't say anything about it. I mean, it doesn't bother me that much, but if a person is doing it to look smart somehow, then it gets annoying.
Id give anything (not realy) to hear someon interject a Japanese word itno a sentence, the msot I ever hear is when people say "What the hell is sushi?"
Gomen nasai 'til the end.
Yes it really bothers me, well any person who's overly anime obsessed to the point where they know generic japanese words, especially if they say them in a high pitched voice to immitate a cartoon character. I'm sorry but...that's just childish. xD Just act normally. And most of the time they don't know what they're talking about, and people think they can learn Japanese off of solely just watching anime. Uhm, no, if you've tried learning a language, you'd understand that.
Btw, manga is not pronounced mayng-uh. It's mahng-uh. That really bothers me when people say it wrong, the japanese people will frown upon you.
It's liek super sugoi and smells like zu on pan. Or something.
It never happened to me.
If it did I'd be annoyed.
omg that kishi is so kawaii!
I do it to scan and see if they're fanatics.
My chosen profession may take me to Japan eventually, so I'm taking classes, and sometimes practice in everyday converstion.
I am not a crazy otaku. :D
domo arigato aisle_s-san.
I feel the same way. <3
When I talk with my dad I'll speak Spanish with him, but I'll inject some English words into the conversation now and then.
Well, that's different since you know both languages. My friend would always randomly switch between speaking English and Spanish when she was talking with her mother.
I find it annoying when the person speaking knows 3 random Japanese words and uses them just to prove that they know them :(!
