Bitch, plz. Bring it.
So like, this is the part were you make out?
Their teabagging is a sign of homoerotic affection.
And it's best that we don't talk about NCGs flaming helmet. :O_O:
There's lotion you can get to help with that!
It's called Elite blood, lovely and purple.
Less than a week to go until the Beta! Exciting times. :) I hope the DMR is just as powerful as the BR, or everything I fought and died for has been in vain! Although having said that, as much as I love my baby, the BR was a hideously overpowered weapon for a starter, so I can see why they felt the need to hit it with a nerf bat.
The beta begins the same day as my first exam, and I have four exams in eight days.
Well, it's better than an imaginary Soul Calibur 2 tournament.
Dumb question here, but when does Reach come out?
The full game? Like in September, I believe.
Hmm, I'm contemplating if I should rebuy halo 3, but I have a feeling it might be a little on the expensive side with all the maps and ODST DLC.
Let's further fix that and say it comes with the actual multiplayer itself too.
Hmm, I need to borrow a copy from a friend or go and buy it then.
See if you can trick a friend into giving it to you for Monday as that's when the Beta for Reach is. You need a copy of ODST to get into it.
I'll get Chocolate Bear to steal a copy from someone and send me it from Mich.
Hahahahha
GUESS WHO GOT AN EARLY BETA CODE AND IS DOWNLOADING REACH RIGHT NOW
(it is me)
smurf. You. Even though I'll be getting the Reach Beta Monday, I'll be too busy studying for AP Calc and AP Physics to play it :(
paul did you get a killimanjaro on bungie’s farewell to halo 2 day??
Never played Halo 2 in my life.
good multiplayer if you’ve perfected the art of nade spamming
Reach seems a lot harder than 3. Although the grenade launcher smurfing owns.
I saw the preview video for the beta, I'm not sure how I feel about the new weapons.
War. War never changes.

This asshole kept jabbering in French in my ear so I made him my first Reach bagging.
Also I smurfing suck at Reach. I'm going to go from the best EoFF Halo 3 player to the worst Reach player. My precious internet Rome is burning.
ohh how the tides of changed >;D
I can't wait to bag you then. :D
Wait.. huh?
I thought the beta was on may 4th?
Apparently they gave early invites to certain people, open beta for everyone else with ODST is on Monday the third, isn't it?
For mortals. But Paul is too awesome  I almost was, and then it didn't work for me :( Which is why I am not also playing right now. The 3rd is the date for us ODST folks though I am sure server overloads will mean it takes until the 9th to download or something.
Yeah the Beta opens to the public on May 3rd. I'm not just the public, though! :shifty: The bungie.net forums have exploded in nerd rage about all of this. It's hilarious.
Anyway, I think the problem was that they were totally new maps to me, and everyone else had been playing it for a while longer than me. I'm starting to get into it now - soon my K/D will go over 1!
Some thoughts -
Maps
Swordbase is pretty smurfing dire. Honest to god it's such an unintuitive mess. Basically, do not use any loadout other than the jetpack. You will need it.
Powerhouse is decent, though, it gives me a kind of High Ground vibe in terms of visual appearance.
Weapons
Plasma launcher (Imagine a Missile Pod that targets people instead of vehicles, and fires plasma grenades instead!) and Fusion Rifle (it melts their faces) are both smurfing brilliant weapons and great fun.
The DMR, the BR replacement, is as powerful as the BR, however it is a lot harder to use and I think it'll take a while to get used to. Needler Rifle may be a bit easier to use but also fun.
Loadouts
All of them are actually quite handy. I currently favour sprint just because I am too lazy to run. Armour lock is great fun, I love hearing people scream abuse when they think they've killed me and I suddenly do that. And the invis one is interesting. It operates like a radar jammer (which harms both you and them) and it also makes you deaf when you go invisible, meaning you rely on sight alone. The Elites and their roll ability are also cracking fun :D
Other :bou::bou::bou::bou:
The new radar is decent enough. It now shows where people are - above, level with, or below you - which is always useful. Also there's a fair few new medals out there.
The armoury also looks to be a good feature. Every game you win gets you Cr (I assume this stands for credits? It's basically the new exp) and you can buy new helmet/shoulder/chest types with it. Each type of helmet (eg Mark V) also has three different things you can add to that, too, so it should be a unique looking game. Of course, the best :bou::bou::bou::bou: requires you to be a certain rank or cost a lot of Cr.
Is there a social in Reach or do you have to immediately fight against the 12yo that are super serious and have no life?
Yeah, there is. Unfortunately right now Ranked is disabled so you're still fighting the same pricks. Seriously in my first game on there, there were these failures who were screaming about bad team mates even though they were the worst on their team.
Ugh, seriously, those people is why I hate MP.
(unless playing with you guys, of course)
I've learned to mute everyone really.
Also have a screenshot of me stabbing one of those guys in the butt with my knife. :)
http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...15028_Full.jpg
lol buttstabber
http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...15169_Full.jpg
humpstabber if you're an Elite. It just looks damn painful.
http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...15992_Full.jpg
A combination of my two favourite things - the jetpack and the grenade launcher. :D To be honest, when I first started I thought the jetpack would be something nubs used 'cause it was COOL!!!! but it's actually incredibly smurfing useful.
Ouch. These assassinations look savage. Apparently you can still do the usual "Biff, dead" one if you tap the melee button, but you do the cool one if you hold it? C'est vrai? And are you vulnerable to damage during the assassination?
But the jetpack is still COOL!!!!, right? :D
Bizarrely I've tapped it and gotten assassinations. So I don't know what the smurf. But yeah you can be killed while doing it.
Also yeah it's damn cool.
So ummm....the guy who owns ODST kind of had to take it back yesterday :(
OH MY GOD I AM SO SORRY GUYS ;-;
Woman do not be sorry just fix it I want to see you going down to Gamestop or Walmart or whereever the hell sells games near you and want to see you with a copy be it pre-owned or new asap!
Haha server is getting pounded.
Got into 5 games so far today!
I may play after my final tomorrow. :D
You won't, Justin, because the servers are dead.
And there were only 130,000 people online when they first got smurfed (now there's 170,000+ - probably more as the count has stopped updating) so I have to wonder how the hell they'll handle the load for the full game release.
As I said to Paul a minute ago, I don't get how Bungie are learning anything new from this. How can they have made some of the most successful online games ever and not have a basic awareness of how to set this up? It's pretty cool to hide behind the label "beta" but I don't remember the last time a beta was a beta and not a demo. I guess if it gets them off the hook though~!
It's happening!
The fanboys were already smurfing furious that people (like me :D) got into the Beta early. They are probably going to kill.
I'll play Wednesday, or maybe tomorrow.
We got in a game and I got to a 14 spree and then smurfing Steve betrayed me :colbert:
As it should be.
I didn't do it intentionally, but it was awesome. Also in a free for all match I actually took Psy out when he had a rocket launcher and I had a normal rifle.
Remind me again who won that match and who came very last? :greenie:
Game's been downloading for... a while. I plan on testing it out for a bit tonight, but I don't know how much time I'll get over the next few days, atm my schedule goes, Mon: Study Tues: Study, Wed: Test, Thur: Birthday. lulz.
Not gonna happen. :pQuote:
I plan on testing it out for a bit tonight
does anyone want to play regular Halo 3? :[
Remember the time Pooh got stuck in Rabbit’s hole?
Huh, after all these years, I never noticed how messed up that sounds.
Well, that's :bou::bou::bou::bou:ty. I'm going to try and play some more.
Downloading.
Shaking with excitement.
where is the multiplayer function on ODST?
I don't see matchmaking :[
I don't see what the big deal is, I've played a bunch of games, there was no problems here.
Must've been fixed. :p
Anyway Colton ODST has two discs. Campaign and Multiplayer. Just put the Multiplayer disc in instead.
ah, thanks
we shall play tomorrow my good men
If it's Reach you want to play, you need to pop in the campaign disc and then download the beta. You need to have the campaign disc in every time you want to play the beta.
Reach multiplayer felt a bit like Halo 2 to begin with! I’m digging the magnum though :)
I played it, it's okay. It's a little more like CoD, but that's it.
I think the armour abilities are really well balanced, in that I don't know which of the four I really want to pick. I usually get dicked over by another abilility whenever I don't have it myself so I always switch to that. Although I often go with jetpack because I am lazy and cba to walk around obstacles.
I liked the look the the armour lock. And apparently it's EMP blast kills all nearby shields? Seems like a good team tactic to have some dude pull a suicide mission into a small room ful of enemies, then throw a grenade or three in after him. :D
Betrayals smurf your score up if you are the sort of person who is not Paul and thus remotely gives a :bou::bou::bou::bou:.
Played a couple of games of Reach earlier fgj it was good times. Only problem is that sprint feels so identical to CoD's that I completely forget it is a choice and not a default. And then I go sailing merrily through the air :(
I like the scout one. I kill 2 or three guys, then run away with low health. Got a 2 to 1 K/D rating that way.
okay then harle-paul
Dude's my idol, yo'.
And you bastard. One day, some smartass admin is going to rename me Harle-Paul thanks to your post. I'm gonna go hang myself. xD
Did someone call for a smartass admin? :smug:
Also for the record, you can actually get banned from the Beta for betrayals. So I'm glad I used an alt account first :)
I played it for a while today. I liked it, I think the DMR is cool, I'm not really digging the 4 classes deal and I don't really like the new grenade physics. I mean it's mostly just stuff that I'm going to have to get accustomed to and will likely eventually warm up to, but for now idk. I do like how they have a preset name for every area so calling out enemy locations will be made infinitely easier.
I'm going to go play some Halo 3 now.
I'm definitely using armor lock or the jetpack as my preferred equipment, depending on the situation mostly.
Armor lock is pretty damn useful when defending the flag in 1 CTF on Powerhouse. I also like to use it as an alternative to bagging someone, it looks cooler.
Bungie.net : Reach : Game Details
I don't suck anymore
That's not what your dad told me.
On a serious note, that's pretty freaking amazing.
Lol. Was everyone else just sitting with their thumbs up their asses?
It was my tryout for an MLG team so I thought I'd make the effort.
Aaaaand the status quo returns. You're lame.
I. smurfing. hate. Oddball.
Just throwin' that out there.
Oh yeah, and jetpacks are pretty freaking cool.
Armour Lock is the most hilarious :bou::bou::bou::bou:. I'm taking down sword users and they have no idea what the smurf. Me and Steve had a game where our two team mates quit because we were up against a rape squad. So we just trolled the smurf out of them by camping and then armour locking. The amount of EMP kills, particularly on sword users, was hilarious.
Still lost, but made them work way harder than necessary to get that win :p
Stalker+Sword=Unfair and therefore I do it all the time. Just throwin' that out there.
...I just.... orgasmed...
Holy moley, that seems awesome.
It's a bit like what happens when I see your mom Dennis, she shoots at me and I spray all over her.
I'm now worried that they're gonna dumb down the awesomeness of armor lock. :(
Huxley as my smurfing witness, I just did the armour lock rocket deflection. He fired one at me and assumed I was dead and ignored me. I charged at him again, locked, and it smacked him in the face
My Reach K/D is 1.67 too, which is pretty smurfing fantastic. Higher than my Halo 3 one!
I bear witness to the truth of his statement. It was smurfing glorious.
hahaha my ranked k/d ratio is better than my social!
Arena K/D ratio: 1.35
Standard K/D ratio: 0.78
My Reach K/D is 1.0 right now.
My Halo 3 one is .92
It's lower because I always play with you guys. Freaking colonels and whutnot.
I still don't know why the game doesn't work when I join you guys. Aside from the first day's networking issues, I've been able to get into games just fine with no issues at all.
Your Xboxes are racist :P
Hey hey hey, the holy teabag of justice does not discriminate. Unless you're French...
We'll try playing with you again. Hopefully it'll actually work!Haha so is mine actually, 1.77. We're both terrible terrible men who should be ashamed.Quote:

I actually like Swordbase a lot, but I suck big scrotey hairballs at it. I loooove Powerhouse though, smurfing glorious map in all respects.
My K/D is 1.09 in both Arena and Standard, lol.
Oh also coming up against a team of four people who stick together and are ALL using armor lock is the worst thing I have ever experienced, I hope they get cancer and then the cancer gets AIDS.
I love that I have done the same amount of games as Steve but I am two ranks higher than him. The new performance based EXP rules.
K/D Ranked: 1.34
K/D Social: 1.12
Winning Percentage Ranked: 100% (lulz 3 games)
Winning Percentage Social: 59%
Lovin' the game. Few issues, the punching takes some time to get used to, overall wouldn't ask them to change much.
>>> Lol, I remember when Halo started as a lousy combat game for the Mac, I wonder when it became so popular..:luca:
>>> Huh? well yeah, Halo was originally developed as a real-time strategy game for the Apple Macintosh platform..:luca:
Im not surprised if the non-mac users didnt know this anyways :D..
I knew that, Bungie decided they didn't want to suck.
Yep, it was gonna be an RTS. On the Mac. xD I also heard that their very first idea was a Planetside-esque MMO, which is kind of what I thought they might be going back to at some point, now that they could actually do it.
>>> hehe, I remember that time 1999/2000 like it was yesterday. The apple comunity was very excited with the game, personally I never cared much about Halo (games in general) in that time since I dont use computers for gaming. The truth is that the game looked awesome for the time.
So you better thank Apple, without them Halo probably would not even existed :D..:luca:
I always enjoyed that:
Halo was supposed to be a killer app for the Mac and now it is owned by Microsoft
Halo Wars sucks balls
You're all dead to me.
Why, did you pull another mass betrayal?
No, but every Mac enthusiast can expect one.
I'm enthusiastic about Stevie Nicks and I'm sorry if you don't like that.
Encountered the first few glitches. One where the system didn't allow anyone to vote, and in that game at a point where someone dropped out, my shields wouldn't recharge anymore.
I had to die for it to fix itself.
But then again, without shield, that didn't took that long.
I had hoped in the early days that the greater amount of armor customization would mean it actually made a difference, eg giving you higher shields or a speed boost or more charge for your jetpack and so forth. Sadly not :(
Sadly?
Smurf that. That would mean that the dudes with no life have even more leverage over you. Can you imagine the 12yo smack talkers that become a 5 star general have 3 times the shields you do?
Screw that, I like it better this way.
yeah, having advancements would make it unfair for the other players.
I finally grabbed my copy of ODST today and got Reach installed.
I was in RAGE before since my original copy of ODST I bought (second-hand) was scratched to bits and my 360 couldn't read the disc, but I kept it since I could use the Multiplayer disc to play online with friends.
Will try out Reach a bit later, hope it's good.
Yeah except that you would simply make the gameplay choices available to all from the start and keep the cosmetic stuff as ordinary unlocks. Was my thinking. All I can tell you is that this is an area where CoD severely, severely beats Halo.
Invasion is up and it is the best :bou::bou::bou::bou:.
Honestly not grokking invasion for some reason. Just not doing it for me in any way.
It's the new Multi Team.
But Multi Team is awesome :(
I think invasion is good fun, though the way Bungie went on about how awesome elites were in it isn't quite right imho, I played 1 game as an elite and the rest as a spartan and well we won almost all our games as spartans. I feel whilst being faster and bigger in close quarters is better the spartans so long as they know how to utilize the marksman class available from the offset well can prevent the elites ever getting close enough to be truly effective. I think it only happened in one match but we actually did stop them cold, the other 4 spartans held the left side of the initial battlefield and myself and Psy held the right side alone, the elites just didn't stand a damn chance.
OH, THAT'S WHAT INVASION IS.
I haven't played at all today, I will after Iron Man 2.
That sounds pretty awesome, actually.
I love INVASION!!
Invasion Slayer and normal Invasion are my favorite modes so far.
I really like how each class has their own move set. The gaurdian Covenent is such a joy to play as!
I also got my first taste of ODST Firefight today, and I'm loving that up aswell.
I can't wait to set up a party and then try playing Firefight
I definitely feel that Elites are stronger, however, I also feel that humans have access to better beginning builds late, and what people don't realize is the Elites have a much, much, much tougher job. Elites don't have to win once, but 3 times, including getting the core which is incredibly frustrating.
Speaking of getting the core, I destroyed my friends yesterday. They were mere centimeters from scoring the core and I was WAY out of range, few awesomely placed grenades, and when he died, the core was literally in the circle, merely picking it up would've been victory. I turn around to see my other friend zooming at me with a ghost to try and splatter me and attain victory. What happened? Two words: Grenade, smurfing, launcher.
I hope they decide to make a version of invasion where you can play without getting split from friends though as it seems perfect for the Call of Duty War Mode fun we used to have in the past, shouting "DEFEND THE BUNKER" "BRING DOWN THE RIECHTAG" only as badass smurfing Elites.
Elites aren't badass, they are worthless alien scum and you'd do well to remember that.
I am torn, because on one hand all aliens are alien scum who should be purged from the universe so that it is pure for Humanity, but on the other hand if I do have to fight or be aliens, I'd rather be Elites than almost any other.
Deep down inside, we all want to be Grunts.
You've caught me :shobon:
Anyone playing now?
Dude, Invasion is pretty sweet. I've only played two matches, both as Elites, and it was sweet. I really don't see it being that difficult for them to beat out the Spartans.
I think both jobs are fairly even, but I just do well as Elite.
Nah, to me, Invasion clearly has a Spartan bias. Spartans get lasers, rocket launchers, sniper rifles, a hog and a scorpion, as well as shotgun and 'nade launcher spawns.
Elites have their power weapons (Fusion Rifle and Plasma Launcher) spawn right in the middle of the old Spartan base when the Spartans are still in there. Their Ghost/'shee/Wraith are all laser/launcher/scorpion fodder, and they get what, Sword spawns? Fantastic, easily countered by the shotgun. If push comes to shove, the Spartans can camp that final room with shotguns and rocket launchers and there's smurf all the Elites can do.
If you own the Spartans hard on Invasion then you are probably playing against a bunch of incompetent people to be honest.
Not that I care, more often than not I am a Spartan anyway and I enjoy absolutely raping the alien bastards :shobon:
EDIT: If you want proof Spartans are better, I looked at my last 20 games of Invasion, and Spartans won 17 times, Elites won 3. And the 3 are the oldest 3 games, when presumably people still didn't know what they were doing. Enough smurfing said. :p
Yeah Jules, Elites are way way way down in terms of advantage. Lets compare support weapons:
Rocket launcher > Plasma Launcher - I say this because, Plasma Launchers take time to charge up for every shot but the rocket launcher only needs a reload every 2 rounds, much like the fuel rod, damage per hit for the Plasma Launcher is lower than the individual rocket fire though you do get a much bigger ammo repository.
Sniper Rifle > Fusion Rifle > Needle Rifle - The snipers two bullets kill for the poor of aim and 1 bullet kill for the fair of aim, compare it to the 5 or so seconds of constant contact the fusion rifle requires and the 9 or so needles on target required by the needle rifle. The sniper is far superior even if you give it a bigger bloom, the Elites really, really need the beam rifle back in to make it somewhat even in this regard, the best way to use a fusion rifle is for the rifle man to pin the targets down whilst his team flanks and kills them.
Spartan Laser > all - lets face it, the spartan laser has very little competition a glancing blow will kill infantry on foot and a hit on a veichle is an instant kill on the veichle the Covenant have NOTHING to compete with this, personally when I first heard about the fusion rifle I was hoping it would be something of an equalizer of the splaser unfortunately for us it was a worse version of the beam rifle. Though the fusion rifle is more effective against veichles than the beam rifle.
I've even said on the Bungie forums feedback about weaponry how I feel on weapons in Halo Reach but as it stands, barring weight of numbers I fail to see how the Spartans really lost Reach based on the distinct advantage they have technically which if I recall the Halo storyline well, weren't they at a disadvantage technically?
I wish I could play Halo but sadly multi-player FPS games are boring without voice chat and with voice chat, Halo is and endless string of incoherent racial slurs.
I liked the original Halo because I could play on PC and the sheer number of idiots/spoiled manchildren was significantly less.
That's completely untrue!
(SPOILER)There's also incoherent homophobic slurs! :p
I played for the second time today and had a +21 game on Powerhouse Slayer, I was happy. The pistol is such a badass in this game.
Personally I prefer grabbing a DMR that gun is amazing, 3 good shots to the face and they're flipping over as if their head has been pinned to that brick wall 20 meters behind them.
Paul, Steve: get on my level. :p
Well yeah obviously I prefer the dmr, I'm just saying the magnum is a pretty beast weapon to start out with if you're playing normal slayer, especially with the 2x Zoom.
And the dmr takes 5 headshots to kill so idk where you came up with 3 good shots to the face :-/
I've been playing invasion lots as spartans, me and Psy work together so maybe I'm plugging targets he's already hit twice. I'm sure he's had similar experiences at this.
The human ships were outnumbered 500 to 150 (they usually won an engagement if they were outnumbering them 3 to 1) , the only thing they had going for them were the Super MAC cannons in orbit. A few ships got through to the atmosphere and dropped about a million covenant on the ground. Now the Spartans always won ground engagements, but having to protect the nuclear reactors (powering the MAC), they eventually had to move and leave the reactors to be destroyed (they set off a nuke themselves). This made the super MAC guns useless and got the rest of the fleet wiped out. Then the covenant did what they always do. Glass the planet.
Dennis already said stuff about it but he's Dutch and honestly, it's Dut really even a country? :p
But yeah because I am a halofag I know the lore. Canonically, the Humans actually won ground engagements a surprising amount of the time even without Spartans. The problem was never, really, the ground engagements, which were messy and costly but where we could do well enough to win. In fact we had been so damned tenacious that the Elites, especially, were starting to ask "Hey why haven't you made peace and incorporated them into the Covenant yet?" because they reckoned we'd earned it, and Truth's little crusade had always been a little fishy. It was in space where we lost the war, because Covie ships both outnumber and outclass Earth's on a huge scale (The Pillar of Autumn being an exception because Keyes is a smurfing badass and Cortana is also rather neat at being in control). The Autumn has a crew of around 2500, of which not even close to all survive down to Halo, but the humans still provide severe resistence to the numerically far-greater Covenant, and would have done so even without the Chief there.
Not to mention The Pillar of Autumn was refitted like a bull. 6 times the Archer missile pods, a MAC cannon that could fire 3 slugs in a short time and a full load of Spartans?
Daaaaaaaamn. *whistles*
Didn't Cortana rob a load of info and stuff from a Covenant ship too? So she basically pimped whatever ship she was in.
Ok, let me cut off a few of my fingers first.
Also, and I am sure Keith will agree, the best thing about Reach is that shots you fired just before you die still go through. So much frustration avided.
idk what the smurf the rest of you nerds are talking about.
Anyone up for halo tonight?
You know it. PM me when it's showtime.
Paul, smurf you.
Also, I'm down for some Halo tonight. Hit me up with details.
Where did you guys find out all the Halo backstory?
Game on in 40 minutes.
They need to fix Invasion so that people in parties are put on the same side. As fun as it is to hunt Steve down and make his life a living hell (cue a big long post from Steve telling everyone how he managed to kill me once or twice ;)), that's not the reason I go into a team playlist with a party of friends.
Nah I thought it was funnier when we went hunting Dan and his boyfriend "OoO Hakim XxX" I remember noticing that these two disappeared for most of the 3rd phase of that mission.
Hahaha yeah just imagining Dan spooning with some big Turkish guy and going "Ooooh, Hakim!" killed me.
That's a pretty embarrassing way to die, Psy.
You start with "The Fall of Reach", of course. It covers everything from Master Chiefs birth up to the point of Halo 1.
"The Flood" is okay, but not necessary. It covers Halo 1, but shows the stuff that happens outside of Master Chief himself.
"First Strike" is another one I highly recommend. This shows the transition between Halo 1 and 2, and is just awesome.
"Ghost of Onyx" is a read if you want to know what happened to Dr. Hasley.
The books just delve into the history of Spartans such as say, Lenny, who was the tallest, most handsome, strongest, fastest Spartan that slept with all the female Spartans and beat up all the male Spartans, (except for Master Chief who was his best friend) and was too busy defeating 100 scarabs and The Prophet of SUPERNESS during Halo 3 it was where all the action and important events happened but that doesn't matter did I mention he was the most handsome and had cornrows and blue eyes and a strong chin (written by a fat kid named Lenny and it somehow becomes official canon).
He forgot Contact: Harvest. :p I've not read that one myself yet though so I don't know how good it is; seeing as it covers the start of the war I would assume it's the one to read first?
I actually ordered that yesterday. I didn't even know it was out.
So "Contact: Harvest" then everything AK said?
Hmm, no, I would still recommend going with "The Fall of Reach" first, mostly because I haven't read the newest one yet and I know Reach is an awesome book.
But that might change when I read contact:harvest.
Me and Paul played some invasion today and actually won half the times we were Elites. It was pretty awesome, although it sucked that out of 5 or 6 invasion games, we were Spartans once.
Embrace change! We've just made some adjustments to the Halo: Reach Beta and introduced a new flavor of Slayer inside the Grab Bag playlist. Along with a host of under-the-hood technical type stuff that you don't need to be too concerned about, here's the list of alterations you'll definitely wanna know about:
* Grab Bag’s “SvE Slayer” pits Spartans vs. Elites
* Spartan DMR Loadout removed from Invasion Phase 1
* CTF Flag return proximity slightly increased
* Headhunter skull pickup radius increased
* Same team Stockpile flag removal and re-scoring resolved
Emphasis mine.
Well, that's a start.
So irrelevant you spammed up my XBL inbox with rage about it ;)
I sent like three messages tops, ho-bag.
And it was because you lead me to believe it was going to be a fair fight. :colbert:
Dude, everyone knows about the cage. Just accept it like a man, and take pride in the fact that you lasted for freaking ages. xD
I have no problem with what happened, just bitches can't be running their mouths when they refuse to fight me fair. :doublecolbert:
Sluts.
I'm a big fan of the DMR but even I agree that that rifle needed to be removed from the spartan hands so early on in the Invasion game type because it made it nearly impossible for the entire elite team to get to the objective as a group to fight it out with their close range weaponry. Theres still gaping problems in there such as the fact that a Ghost can kill the Scorpion with only around 20 - 50 seconds of sustained fire on the rear armour. If I look at the two tanks I'd have to say that where the Scorpion has power and traverse the wraith has the defense and also due to the boost speed.
I guess that's OK, but I never had a problem reaching the first objective as an Elite.
EDIT: What's the most credits you've gotten in a match? I just got 1245 credits in commendations in Invasion.
