You wake up tomorrow morning and find that nobody is home. Well, nothing strange there, they probably went to get some groceries or the like.

Then there's no signal on the TV.

And you look outside to see cars and other vehicles crashed everywhere.

Naturally, you get online to find out what's going on, and other people are reporting the same thing.

It's quickly deduced that, for reasons unknown, everyone on Earth except the members of this very website have disappeared.

What do you do? How do you survive? Do you try to meet up with others, or stay away from the weirdos?

I remember putting you in charge of organizing planetary reproduction and it was going quite well until you kept bothering me with ideas about breeding with cashmere goats so we could live in the tundra without any other form of clothing. We would need to relocate to somewhere with an ongoing and reliable power supply (And I do mean all of us, so US members would need to find clear runways at major airports and the rest of us would need to meet in our respective countries and learn to autopilot). Vegas is, ironically, a good bet as it is powered by the Hoover Dam, which is possibly our single most efficient source of power vs. effort of maintenance we could hope for. Nuclear plants would also be good except they'd start shutting down very quickly as safety measures. Fossil fuel plants would simply run out within a day or two. So yeah we wouldn't actually get to sit around playing veedjuhgaems for very long, sadly :( It would also place a very short lifespan on a whole lot of food, so unless people know how to preserve stuff, we'd want to gorge on fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats in the first couple of days while we still can.

Of course that power issue would give us only a brief window to arrange our meetings. But we'd have to designate places people could get to in order to meet and form larger groups. Assuming we succeded in this, and can get some birds in the air (Shouldn't be a challenge to find a fuelled one, but I don't know to what degree they depend on ground control existing. If autopilot works, we're fine, because autopilot can do it all these days. If it doesn't... I've played Microsoft Flight Sim!) we can meet up in the US. Aside from the Hoover Dam it's also got plenty of material wealth we can use in the first years before they degrade.

Of course all this time we're also avoiding all the fires, explosions, wild/increasingly feral animals, floods, etc. etc. which result from a complete absence of Humanity.

We'd be able to rely on machines, cars, existing fuel, etc. for some time, but these supplies would not be infinite.

Track down the other Irish EoFF's & go get drunk first & for most. I hate to be a stereotype but the world just ended & I need a session to de-stress:tongue:. After that I'd get a plane & over a number of months learn to fly it. Fly to the Middle-East claim all the oil as mine & then to Africa & claim all the diamond mines & then as worlds richest man propose marriage to all the best looking female EoFF's(all women love rich eligible bachelors again sorry for the sterotype:tongue: ) & repopulate the world!

The hoover damn can run some 70 years without people manning it and then it would shut down only cause the cooling jets would clog with stuff plus i am an adept hunter so we could always have fresh meat and there are enough guns and bullets around that we could hunt for years and we could grow our own crops. we'd be like a commune

Good thing my husband and Sean's wife both joined up. I'm sure we would call over Nino Brown and hang out.

The first thing I would do would be to decide what farmland to take over to be sure my area is supplied with enough fresh food. Then I would raid my favorite stores.

So me Ashley James Bonnie Myles and Elyse...would be the only people I know in the surrounding area.

I watched a show on the history channel called life after people and it showed how the earth would decay without people to maintain it and it talked about the hover damn and they said it was so eficiant it could run many years without people they said the southeast us would be the last place on earth to lose power without people.

I'm not moving to America, I'll just stay in the UK here, well atleast until the wind farm in the central belt of Scotland stops working then I guess I'll have to make a move to somewhere where there is power.

Ye I watched that show about Life After People. We'll have to arm ourselves vs. the rabid cats and dogs that are going to go crazy once all the people are gone. Haha, that show was funny. They had a dog and it was making dinosaur sounds, epic.

If we're talking like for seriously then I guess I'd raid some people's houses and learn to hunt pretty quickly. I'm sure I could build fires and stow away in some houses or buildings while driving to the nearest peoples on here (maybe ljkkjlcm9?). Then we'd all meet up gloriously somehow and continue a savage lifestyle, most likely.

I would perish long before I made it to anyone else and long before anyone else made it to me. I'd survive about 10 minutes without American convenience doing everything for me.

I'd steal a car and drive to wherever Psy is to declare my undying love loyalty to him and his glorious empire. The fact that I cannot drive is no longer important in this post-apocalyptic world.

I would first gather all Australian EoFFers in one place. We would then commandeer a vessel, and rescue our Kiwi brethren. Following that, a quick trip to islands and nations nearby to save those poor souls. After we've located all the stragglers, we'll go meet up with the rest of you jokers to create this cities.

All you guys with plans of world domination... Why bother? Eh, you'll all battle each other to the death and leave us peaceful types to actually repopulate the planet :D

To be honest. Thinking about it I'd probably just stay in bed. If there was no one else alive to get me out of bed I'm pretty sure I'd just stay in bed until I died or I smelt smoked bacon being cooked somewhere in lands far far away.

I would probably go to the nearest university libraries to learn how to do all the stuff I'd need to do. I do have some basic survivial skills, I can kill and clean animals, I know what berries I shouldn't eat and I can start a fire. But I'd need to know more about riding horses, setting broken bones, taking out appendices, fixing solar power units and curing cancer. Also re-establishing radio contact with our friends in other continents.

We need to move to a place where we can farm. Agriculture really is the basis of our society. Foraging can only last so long.

Also need more self-defense skills. Some of you bastards could be crazy.

I would attempt to create my very own Goblin Thug suit. No one is around, really, so no one would care.

And then, I would try to meet up with people afterwards.

There's also a huge, huge water fountain out front. We could draw on it. That'd be fun. And we could sleep in the restaurant on top of that hotel. I forgot what it's called, but it definitely rotates. Like the entire restaurant is an extension on top of the hotel and it spins really, really slowly. There's a giant, giant elevator that goes up there and all of the walls are windows.

Not to mention the fact that we would have broadcasting capabilities on several different mediums.

Wouldn't it be so fun to PLAY ON THE INTERSTATE? Of course, in the rain, because without the rain it'd be really hot.

It would be nice to have some other EoFFer's come chill too.
