I didn't sell the phones, but I did work at a cell phone provider call center when the iPhone 4 came out. You have my condolences.
My other half worked for AT&T when the original iPhone came out, as you can imagine it's mass hysteria. I know that's how it's going to be but my trainer is basically like "lol you guys will be ok don't worry" but I know 99% of my chats are going to be about it so. I am in charge of one of the five shipping lines in the nations number one non-Amazon phone distributor. I have to get 35 people to ship over a million of these phones in 2 weeks. Not only is it difficult, but it is making our hours all wonkey. Today and tommorrow will be short, then starting Launch day I'll probably be there 14 hours a day and have to skip lunch.

Think the current trend on iphone 5 will last for a while. Then again, let's see how're the feedbacks of the first batch of consumers that bought one. Who knows it might turn out crappy! :bigsmile:
Yeah this is why I'm probably sticking with a 4S until I get a solid word on it, as far as look and specs wise it looks amazing but even the first iPhone had it's flaws. (It got extremely hot for me to the touch to the point of almost burning me.) So I think I'll stick with something that's been around for a while.
I wanted to get a 4S but I heard the battery dies really fast especially with that Siri thingy on? :(
But the phone's camera is good though! 8 megapixels right? So much better than my current iphone 4. :bigsmile:

I had problems with the 4 and the whole "holding it at a certain angle under a full moon and it would do this" thing. It would keep telling me my sim didn't exist or something I don't know. I ended up taping and nearly gluing it in place, but even that still didn't really help.
Yeah, I run with AT&T and the data plan plus all the extra's are usually out the wazoo expensive. But now we introduced that Mobile Share biz and it looks like it might actually be worth it in the long run so I'm hoping it won't hit me in the pocket super hard.Quote:

I thought maybe the 5.1 update would fix it, but really you have to seat the thing permanent like into the slot and make sure it stays there otherwise it'll keep happening. It's...useful for hands off situations like driving and what not but it's really just someone to talk to. I love Siri personally, and I can't wait until I get to use her all the time (Sounds dirty eh) but yeah I think it's good for like texting while driving or things like that.
My battery lasts a pretty long time depending on what I'm doing. I use it a lot for checking Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram through the day, as well as talking and texting, it lasts at least a whole day.Quote:
