I'll put you on that team. People shouldn't worry about time commitments, this event will have many events you can participate in, but no participation from someone will not hurt a team, unless he or she is the only member :P

yeah- you might have to combine some teams so as to not eliminate them... maybe add 3,4, 5 & then 7&8 to get 2 more teams?

If teams want to merge they can have all members switch from one to another. I laid out the rules, how you all go about it is up to y'all!
