I have been meaning to check it out more fluidly since one of my best friends really enjoys it. I unfortunately never had the chance to focus on it--I had various other manga and anime grabbing my attention at the time. Different generations, I grew up with stuff like Cowboy Bebop, Ghost In The Shell, Ergo Proxy, Samurai Champloo...so on and so forth.

Great series, though book one is a little slow at times, books two and three is where things get reaal heart rending. The 4 parter at the end had me in tears.
