ps2, definitely the ps2.

PS1 would be higher, but I never had any of the good games for it when I was but a wee little kid.

PS2 if you consider PS1 games + backwards compatibility. If you don't count that, then probably PS1.

I'm not counting PC because that covers way too many generations to make it a fair fight.

The PS2 was pretty much the perfect console. With how asinine Sony has become regarding backwards compatibility, it may never be beaten.

That being said, honorable mentions have to go to the PS1 and SNES.

PS2, hands down. I had no idea until recently that Sony were such jerkfaces about backwards compatibility with PS3. I've been wanting to get one but if I can't play all my favorite games then what's the point?

PS1, it was the first console that I was old enough to start buying my own games. That and I actually ended up getting it modded by my uncle so that I could played burned discs, which let me play all the games.

Second is the SNES because Goddamn.
