Right now I just hope Microsoft doesn't implode and just collapse from all the restrictive policies. I have been a fan yes, but as a Developer I worry as to where the Xbox brand is going. In the past Microsoft has been really helpful and instrumental in getting the console community mobile in the Independent side. They even bring the best of the PC to Xbox by finding game's Devs like Minecraft's Mojang or helping with game's like Stranger's Wrath by Oddworld for Xbox and have even helped Publish them. When did this change and just WHY?

That is what I would love to know. When did Microsoft become so cold to Developers?

If it is cause of X1, then that would mean they want to establish a system that keeps other Publishers in the loop. However I personally see nothing wrong with self-published material. Come-on Microsoft
