I still feel like StarCraft is the stronger RTS title but WCII is very very good.

I could never get into SC. I don't know if it's the colour, the poorer humour or what. I understand that SC could perhaps be a better tactical thing but that's not what I'm after, I'm after awesome fun and I guess I just feel that WC is more designed towards fun while SC is more designed towards pure strategy or something, dunno.

This game does have a really big flaw: You can't get it anymore! Seriously, how hard would it be to put this up on your website for fifteen dollars, Blizzard?!

I lost my copy long ago, and I can no longer play it.

That said, I still preferred Warcraft III. Because Heroes.
My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.

He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.

    14. TimeSplitters (series)
    PS2, 2000-2005

This series was awesome! It includes a great co-op (that covers the entire story, as the best co-op games should), hilarious slapstick, amusing characters, good ol' fashioned FPS gameplay, enjoyable vs. modes, laughs at itself and never takes itself seriously and allows you to laugh at the plot holes instead of criticising them. I haven't played a TimeSplitters game that I haven't enjoyed, and that goes for Danielle, too, my partner in time travel. My favourite is probably Future Perfect, but every one of them was great regardless.

Crytek has done a wonderful thing by endorsing a fan-made remake considering they I really hope TimeSplitters Rewind turns out good, but part of me still wishes that an official game would be released by Crytek someday. It's just too good a series to simply let go. Do that KickStarter, dammit Crytek!

I'm pretty psyched up now for the next one. My "Top 10" is more of a "Top 13" because from this point onwards my love for the games hits the extremes. There will be another considerable jump between #7 and #6. But man oh man these games. These games!

I didn't even know about any of the Warcraft games until World of Warcraft was invented.

I absolutely love Timesplitters and, like you, Future Perfect is my favourite. So damn good.

    13. Journey
    PS3, 2012

It's amazing how something so simple can be so groundbreaking. No words, very little interaction, no knowing who you're playing with, just one way to communicate with them. Suddenly, all jerkdom of the modern gaming world is swept away and no person can ruin your game, it is practically impossible for them to do so even though they are right there. The worst they can do is not follow, but then there is no designated leader, so who's to say it is you that is not following in equal measure? The people you have detested in other games can be great travelling partners in this one. You are truly anonymous. So are they.

The gameplay itself is the most simple part of it all. You grow your sash/scarf/ribbon/whatever it is. You jump, you slide, you move, you touch, you soar. If it were not for the other individual or the colours and graphics - which are simple in their own right - this game would be a very, very dull affair. I've gone through long periods of having no other character on my screen and it's a bit demoralising. But in the end you learn to wait for your partner, to search out a new one should they have gone.

This game has feels written all over it. It lives on your emotion, and the emotions are varied. thatgamecompany is a group that every now and then I search out what they're doing next. I can't wait to see how it turns out. I miss them already. I hope many other game companies can learn from them, because emotions should run high when you play a lot of the games out there. It makes it that much better an experience.

Journey is among my favorite games. I really liked playing with someone i didn't know and couldn't really talk to. It was fun.

Not surprised to see Journey on this list, and I haven't even played it.

This is how well I know BoB.

Journey is a fantastic game, though I wasn't as bothered by playing it alone sometimes. Still I agree their handling of multiplayer does get out all of the problems with dealing with other people so bonus points there.
