If anything it should be Ore - Gone. Who pronounces Ore, Ore-eh? Freaks.
Pentagon
Hexagon
Oregon
English is confusing. There's no sales tax in Oregon!
Three syllables. Hard to say how I say this one as it depends on how lazy my NZ accent is. I tend to go with the Or-eh-gon thing, but when my accent kicks in it'll likely sound quite different to you lot because NZ'ers are rather subtle with their vowels (particularly when compared with some Australians who can exaggerate them quite notably).
Bow before the mighty Javoo!
I'd say it Or-eh-gone, because I'm a filthy foreigner who has never actually heard the word being said natively. Purely by looking at the word, that's how I'd say it. :3
...that's not how you say Spokane?
Bow before the mighty Javoo!
Spo-cane...?
Finally us Americans are getting our revenge for all those -eicester towns.
And it's pronounced spo-CAN.
why would there be an e at the end of that word if it's just pronounced like can
Milngavie
Pronunciation GO
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.
Actually, that's a bit too hard. I'll give you it's shortened, simplified name:
Llanfairpwllgwyngyll.
