>>> Manga > Anime..![]()
But manga doesn't have music!
So I just finished watching Cowboy Bebop and Another. Two series that have literally nothing in common.
Cowboy Bebop was pretty damn fun. It had loveable characters, great comedy and a dark underlying backstory that surfaced every now and then. Loved it.
Another is entirely different. It's more mystery than anything. Kept me on the edge of my seat all the time. It's very dark, especially the later episodes. Mei is one of the most mysterious and unnerving yet intruiging and interesting characters I've seen in quite a while. The OVA also made me feel really sorry for her. I kinda wish there had been more hints towards the final conclusion of the anime, but then again it would've hardly been possible without spoiling it outright.
Another had a great level of camp. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I enjoyed it more the second time I watched it with a bunch of friends and took the right piss out of it because of its nonsense. xD
I have a massive back catalogue of anime to get through, and this thread is not helping.
That's two more already, just from the Yoko Kanno revelation.
Seriously. Wolf's Rain nas the most amazing soundtrack in existence.
yeah like holy crap gits music is the best music
in terms of levels
it is on the top level
all the soundtracks are spectacular
So after way too much time (I rewatched Elfen Lied and Steins;Gate in the meantime) I finally started watching Clannad. Can't really say anything about it yet, I've just seen the first three episodes but I've heard a lot of good about it (particularly The After Story) so I'm looking forward to the later parts.
See you space cowboy...
Ninja Scroll the movie and Cowboy Bebop...next question?
ROYALE WITH CHEESE
Down to the last 6 episodes of Clannad After Story. It's starting to rival Elfen Lied. It's been a while since I last had seen a series that put a smile on my face so often and at times made me cry.
