I actually took a "favorite Moogle" poll via PM several months ago, for an article I had planned to write. I then got in a vehicle accident and forgot all about it. I have the PMs still, I should look into finishing that.
There was a very interesting trend.
Stiltzkin was first place in about 10% of the votes.
Montblanc was second place in about 75% of the votes.
I'm completely serious. Everyone had their own favorites, from FFVI's Mog, to the Mog from Mog House in FFVII, to Minimog. But Montblanc was in second place for the vast majority of our members (except for Pike. Pike placed Montblanc first). It took me a while to decide how to rank this, but I eventually decided that the sheer number of people who loved him put him in first place among the FF Moogles.

Stiltzkin, because I have not played a game with Montblanc in it.
Stiltzkin is too awesome not to pick. Granted, I don't really remember Montblanc (which may mean I never met him when I played that game since I never beat it). Stiltzkin, to me, is the perfect Moogle though. The save Moogle comes in second place for me.
