Let's Play Final Fantasy VII... in HD?! Using cloudystrife's FFVII graphical overhaul mod for Steam, our PC edition of FF7 is now looking better than ever! So let's play Final Fantasy 7 and get all nostalgic as Cloud and the gang assemble to save the planet from Shinra and Sephiroth.

In part 1 of Let's Play Final Fantasy 7 HD, Cloud bounces off a train and meets up with AVALANCHE: Biggs, Wedge, Jesse and the rather angry Barret as they plot to destroy the No 1 Midgar Reactor. After Shinra send both tentacle dogs and roboguards after them! These prove to be easy prey for Cloud and Barret, but will the Guard Scorpion allow them to escape after they plant their bomb...?

Even if you don't have time or whatever to watch videos, I'd still be grateful if you could answer a simple question for me!

Nice! I've always been curious about this mod. Its nice to see it in action. I've had FFVII on Steam downloaded for a long time. Ready to go for when I'm in the mood. This would probably make it an even more interesting venture

Guard dog? I always thought of those as guard cats. Very big cats, with tentacles, but still cats.

After beating the Guard Scorpion, Cloud and Barret have to escape the reactor before the bomb goes off. After bumping into Aerith the flower girl, Cloud train surfs and does a variety of gymnastics. Upon their return to Sector 7, Barret asks Cloud a very strange question. Tifa and Marlene await inside, but who does Barret mean...? ...Not Wedge, surely?

Going to have to add all the tallies up. There's a source in the Shinra building where you can get infinite dating points (positive or negative) for Tifa so you can really just do whatever you want to her until then. I think there's one for Yuffie in Cosmo Canyon too.

Also the massive differences in quality between the player models and everyone else is a bit weird. I wonder if they could only do the high quality on those models. Like, Biggs and Wedge are less LEGO-y than they were, but they're not up to the same shine as Cloud and Barret. Although those ShinRa soldiers are looking pretty snazzy.

Gotta watch out for the creeps on the trains. Pretty Japan sentiment! x}
