Jayne is my middle name. I use it a lot as Tara Jayne is my 'writers' name, as opposed to my actual surname. Which only a few people know now because it's not on my facebook?! Like, I have people asking me 'what IS your last name?' a lot, and I like it, it's mysterious! I also just don't like sharing my surname on the internet - so anyone here who does happen to know it you don't need to write it down in the thread

I do have a middle name. I don't like it much. But then, I don't like my first or last name either. This is why I just tell everyone to call me Pike.

The only plus side to my name is that it's so astoundingly common that you can put the whole thing into Google - first, middle, last - and not get a single hit that's actually me for the first 100 pages. (Possibly more, but that's when I stopped looking.)

Middle names are strictly for use in conjunction with the first name to demonstrate to whomever you are yelling at/for that you are extremely upset.

I knew when my parents yelled 'Nicholas Charles!' that I was in for an ass beating or a good scolding. It was as it should be.
