Genuinely unsure, I really like both characters.

It had good music, but yeah, I'm baffled by it. He always feels like a novelty character to me. It would be like people ranking Umaro and Mog over the rest of VI's cast. I mean I like both of them, but not as much as the others.

That scene is the closest a Final Fantasy game has ever come to making me cry. Well, unless you count being bored to tears in FFXII I guess.

Aren't you a fan of Quina, though?

I like Quina yes, but if Quina was up against Freya, Vivi, or Steiner, I'm kicking it to the curb. Red XIII was just boring to me and ultimately doesn't really do much for the plot except be raised by a more important character.

I went for Red XIII, though I don't really care for either of these characters tbh - I don't feel either of them are particularly strong characters.
