At least he met a fitting end. It'd have just been adding insult to injury if he'd merely fallen down some stairs or something.

    *sad*

I used to watch that show all the time.

Nobody will ever be able to agitate animals as well as he did.

That's tragic, man. At least he went out doin' what he loves to do.

Poor guy. He was one of my favorite guys to watch when I was a kid. Truely.

This reminds me of one Halloween when like, twenty kids were dressed like him.

As for his death, I agree with Kishi and Strider. At least he did what he loved until the very end.

First Treadwell, now Irwin. Can't say I didn't see it coming though.

    Sweet jesus...

I truly liked the guy, but, as many have said, at least he passed on doing what he enjoys.

I feel sorrowful for his family... There were known risks, of course, but it still doesn't remedy or lighten the pain of a lost one...

    Rest in peace...

I couldn't believe it when I saw he had died. Steve Irwin, dead. I still cannot believe it. I actually at first thought it was a joke, but then I got a text from a friend saying he had died, which I guess only confirmed it. As I come from Australia, everyone is talking about it. I go to tell someone, and they already know. Everyone is really sad about this, he was such a great ambassador for Australia, and one of the most true Aussie's we have had in a long time.

    Rest in peace, mate.

He was extremely charismatic. Slighty insane...but charismatic. And he made something I was never really interested in fun to watch. He will be missed.

    Aw, man.

Poor dude, I feel bad for him and his family. He seemed like such an awesome and fun guy, and I used to watch his show all the time.
